Be interesting to see the Three Lions boost. It took England reaching the semis for it to go stratospheric in 2018, but you could argue the shock factor of that happening at the time took it even further; the song was absolutely everywhere then in a way I haven't noticed so far this year.

Since that point we've reached two Euros finals so maybe the novelty of getting so deep has worn off a touch. I think it would take England reaching the final for it to go to No.1 again.

Yeah it seems to be much slower and steadier this year (so far).

Next weeks QF and SF games are Saturday and Wednesday so fall well in charting terms, plus the heat really ramps up at that point so providing they manage to win, I could see it pushing for the top spot!

Sam Fender ought to record "Kane Me In" on the off chance that England win the WC and release that to keep Three Lions off
