O-Rod - Honeybee looking to enter at 34, quite a bit lower than I thought! Hope Drop Dead doesn't overtake it by Friday.

honeybee will climb throughout the week if the footie hype dies down a bit

Presumably it was too difficult for the presenters of GB News to count to 16 weeks. They had hurty brains 😢

  • I think 'trust me bro' is a better source x

So the highest genuine new singles entry (not re-entry) is at a lowly #86 and is one of only 2 new entries in the Midweek Top 100 Singles chart.

Olivia Rodrigo's 'honeybee' is actually the highest new entry at #34 - it's a glitch in the OCC's site that makes a song entering which was previously starred out look like a faller from last week's "-1"

they do that for a song that would be charting the week before but was 3 song ruled so yea that tracks. Nice To Each Other and Baby Steps both suffered this

Please can we not be talking about the "Christmas rush" when it's July I beg

THIS!

On a another note, great to see Madonna still top 10, I wasn't expecting that. Fingers crossed she can stay in there! 😍

Looking forward to Jack playing Mr Brightside on Friday !!

Hopefully, OCC do the right thing and reset it. They reset everything else for no reason

Apart from the very well established reason of increasing streams by 25% in a week, obvz.

It really is getting tougher for new songs and artists to break through. Surely a rethink is required. Some songs in that top 100 are never ever leaving!

Same with sweet caroline though although finally this year hasn't been as dominant

I think its not much of an american thing cause sweet Caroline is most associated in America with the Boston Red Sox, so anyone who roots for a rival team wouldn't be caught dead singing along to (except for a really sweet moment after the Boston marathon bombing where their main rivals the Yankees played it to show solidarity and the entire stadium sang it at the top of their lungs)

So what. Lots of people watch GB News and they report on everything unlike sky news and BBC News who will only report on what they want you to hear

Hope you’ve been enjoying the orange parade in NI today on it along with Arlene Foster and big Jim McDonald 🤣

I’m English, not Irish 🤦‍♂️

Has anyone pointed out yet that if Oasis got to number one, they would level with The Spice Girls on nine number one singles!

Argentina must prevent this travesty.

The main reason it’s declined is because England are using Wonderwall as their post-match song.

Last time I was in America I heard Sweet Caroline at 3 sports games - none of them were the Red Sox!

'Rein Me In' is on more than 5k above last Monday's total - the physicals must have been added. Can't see either '3 Lions' or 'Wonderwall' overtaking it by Friday - the pre-match and immediate post-match streams on Wednesday would need to be massive, with most of Thursday's streams being estimated.

Wish it wasnt wonderwall but it would be poetic given the beef between the 2 bands 😮

Shame total eclipse of the heart is only 53 in the update might not even survive top 100 and no albums top 100 either 😪

How can such an iconic singer not make people want to listen to her music after she passes away.

They cover it on GB News, don’t think many of those celebrating it would call themselves Irish either, they are a confused bunch.

Madoona holding well to be Number 7, hopefully she stays top 10 but at worst she will be top 15 which is still a good 2nd week result.
