I’m finding it really difficult to vote. I have listened through both semis twice and I feel like more songs sound the same than normal. Or maybe there’s just more of the same distinct types, like lots of pop, lots of indie rock, lots of slow quiet pretty ones, long dance ones etc - and I don’t have a reason to specifically vote one over another if that makes sense

Three songs were competing for my 12 points, and that was definitely the hardest part for me to decide.

Voted - thought this was a great semi, I have a reasonably clear top 9 but then 7 or 8 songs that I could easily have given my 1 point to (in the end I stuck with the song that was provisionally at 1 point after the SyncTube session, but I did swap a few songs around within my top 9 and feeling happier with the order now).

There is a song I haven't voted for (it is among that group of 7 or 8 songs fighting for 1 point) but will probably be stuck in my head for the rest of the day x

this is kind how I felt too

I’m fearing that this will end up being like BJSC 84 where I thought a lot of the songs were very samey but instead of tropical house they’re all artsy indie alternative and not only did I not like that contest I also DNQd then so it’s not a good sign

Gonna listen through the songs for at least an hour longer, maybe two. I'm enjoying my semi!

Voted - this has definitely been a unique contest for Herbilore - there's a chance something may happen that has never happened for us before (make of that what you will...)
