i'm told that your submission must be guitar-centred. it needs guitar riffs. i like guitar solos. this is not club bizarre or pop forum song contest... i want to bop my head HARD

genres can range from rock, metal, folk, post-punk, post-rock, shoegaze, guitar instrumental, 1-hour of guitar paradise (short song bloc found rotting in the corner), alt z, heavy (spotify names this genre, not me)... everyone is welcome to submit something delectable

rules

The artist or band must not have reached the top 75 of the UK singles chart (ideally not the albums chart either).

The song cannot have been submitted to any previous song edition of Nuggets or Unknown Pleasures

The contest is anonymous so please keep your entries to yourself — your entries will be revealed with the results.

If the same artist or band is entered by different people, then the first person to submit will be chosen.

The entries will be confirmed by the moderators of this forum to make sure they follow the rules above.

I don't have that many options but I think I found a good one for this contest, which hopefully is better recepted than "Spice Girl who Do You Think Are". There are lots of nineties options for me, but unfortunately all of them had charted a song between places 50 and 75.

Not sure if you're still confused or I'm just reading this wrong but there isn't a theme (other than that the song has to be guitar-led but that's just the concept of Nuggets as a whole).

Might be best to change the title x

No, no, no, I was confused for like five seconds because of the title when I asked the question. Now I know what the theme is, but it’s too broad for me because I’d say this is the genre I know and love best, and that’s exactly why I know I’ll pick something that most people won’t like 😅
