If you want to talk about the big top 40 I suggest using the capital thread although I doubt you’ll get much conversation on it

1 hour ago1 hr Spotify are in the middle of combining remixes of songs into a songs total streaming figures. This may affect "Rein Me In" as we might get all versions combined so don't be surprised if there's a sudden increase it its daily streams. Examples from recent days are songs like "Bring Your Love" by Madonna & Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift's "Karma" remix with Ice Spice and Ariana Grande's "Supernatural" remix with Troye Sivan. It's part of them trying to clean up their data and to an extent makes sense as most remixes are combined with the originals for chart purposes. It's just a shame you won't be able to see how many streams a remix did vs the original now. The Spotify chart might start looking quite a bit different with a lot of movement lower down the chart potentially. Edited 1 hour ago1 hr by Envoirment

It might make the chart even less fresh with songs like "Save Your Tears" being combined and popping back up. But it should make it easier to see how songs are doing that have multiple versions doing well. 6 minutes ago, 777666jason said:Yeah seen the post about Karma , be interesting if they leave the TVs versions aloneI believe those will stay as is as they were re-recordings and charted separately as well. Although given Taylor has her masters back she might request they be combined?
