so this is looking like their lowest charting single release since Shiver :( oh well, this era's still been good and at least this isn't missing the top 40 like it was looking like

its still really good, I do prefer Hurts Like Heaven & Major Minus though

Lost! charted lower, it's their lowest top 40 since "Shiver" though.

But it is a because they base it on the top 75.

Apologies, thought they were doing in a similar fashion to the BBC Chart page - whereby it's a 'new entry' to the top 40. I take it back, haha.

Great hearing 'Charlie Brown' though - it's set for a digital EP release in two weeks time, so hopefully it can hold on to the top 40 until then, and re-peak.

I like Coldplay's album, but somehow all of the singles seem to sound much worse as singles. CB used to be one of my favourites from Mylo Xyloto, but I've completely gone off it after it has been promoted; the same has happened with all of their singles of this era.

Yay a new fan! I would definitely advise investing in their older albums as they are just incredible, but i guess not for everyone.

I don't know, I have just always found their previous efforts boring, but the music is just so colourful and anthemic this era, its different from their older songs in many ways.

This sounds aweful compared to Wild Ones

I don't think I can express in words how overrated I find this song. dire, dire, dire. :puke: of all songs she could have performed at the brits, why THIS?

Rolling In The Deep

This song is by far my favourite song ever; it refuses to sound old, even after over 500 plays on iTunes

Actually, regarding Coldplay, they released 'Strawberry Swing' like 2 years after the release of Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends and completely flopped with it, so technically Charlie Brown is their lowest peaking single since that :P

I like that RITD has passed its 26th top 40 week in its 52nd top 75 week. Still sounds great to me (Jamie xx's remix is better though).

RITD still sounds amazing to be.

This has had a much smaller boost than expected, along with most of the other Brit songs. The Brits just didn't have a standout big performance this year like SLY or a big duet like YGTDL. Everyone just played songs that have already been bought by basically everyone in the country. Its a shame because I always like The Brits shaking up the charts big time.

Eurgh I wish this would just die already.

The Hardest Part was kind of released from X&Y and flopped too.

And  at this - a classic #2 now!

Eager to see how far One Direction's 'One Thing' has fallen. It's current chart run is: 28-36-38-26-09 and looks likely to fall to something like #21/22 this week and possibly out of the top 40 next week (#38 on iTunes now!).

Two great #2 singles in a row :P Good to see Heaven making another climb, loving this resurgence in the last couple of months

The Hardest Part was kind of released from X&Y and flopped too.

The Hardest Part is probably one of my favourite Coldplay singles ever!
