June 16, 201313 yr They would have sampled the original Kenny Rogers/Dolly Parton Islands In The Stream (as covered by Nessa and Bryn etc). Thanks, I haven't knowingly heard either songs but it is definitely those female vocals (presumably Mya) in the chorus singing that I recognise.
June 16, 201313 yr Much more welcome re-entry here (although I'm not sure why this is back? Is it just because it's a slow week or something?)
June 16, 201313 yr 1- SINGIN IN THE RAIN- Mint Royale (27,537) 2003 This was 5 years ago already? :o Gosh I remember George Sampson winning BGT and this shooting up the charts and it doesn't seem like that long ago :o
June 16, 201313 yr Thanks, I haven't knowingly heard either songs but it is definitely those female vocals (presumably Mya) in the chorus singing that I recognise. Hmmm, no idea then!

June 16, 201313 yr I really don't understand why Jameela considers all slow songs to be boring. This is beautiful.
June 16, 201313 yr I was really hoping Laura Palmer could enter this week, I bet it's at 41 and probably missed its chance now :(
June 16, 201313 yr Shame this never went top ten but it seems destined to eventually become one of the biggest selling non top tens ever...
June 16, 201313 yr 4th run in the top 40 for 'A Thousand Years' - it just doesn't quit. Good to see it back again though, still a gorgeous song. Looks like I didn't waste any of my preparation time then :D The only upside to Pras entering. The other 3 re-entries should be PSY, Jason Mraz and DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. June 16, 201313 yr Well, do you have a link for it? https://twitter.com/MintRoyale Start reading from 10th June, upwards.
June 16, 201313 yr A Thousand Years is beautiful but I much prefer Jar Of Hearts. I'd like the next time Ms Perri gets a boost, to be with that song.
June 16, 201313 yr 2001 03 Case Of The Ex -1- I used to like this song. Ghetto Supastar re-entering is slightly surreal.
