Yes, we get your point now.

A few other people seem to think they are "flopping" so I have to keep reiterating this.

Actually when Cover Drive released their first song, I thought they are a fake band

blame iTunes....

I thought exactly the same lol

The Wanted are on 82.97%

Icona Pop are on 61.35%

Face it Icona Pop are not going to #1 whether they are "the biggest gainers" or not.

They are still going to be #1. The comparison to Carly Rae Jepsen seems apt.

You've got to consider that at the current rates of increase, in 3 updates time Icona Pop will be on 90% and The Wanted will be also be around 90%. Obviously, they will both slow down slightly - but you can't ignore the facts! :kink: They will both be pushing for the #1 by the end of tomorrow.

Yes but increasing from 52 to 61% in one update whilst The Wanted increase only from 79 to 82% suggests that they are likely to topple Robin Thicke, whereas The Wanted definitely won't.

10 pages, all for Icona Pop?

I was 'into' the song a few weeks ago, shouldn't have taken this long to be released really. While I think it will reach #1 officially this week, I can't see it hanging around in the T10 for long (on account of the held back release).

The real question is, how many weeks can Icona Pop hold on to #1? Just the one? (John Newman's "Love Me Again").

As I expected, Icona Pop are nowhere near #1 and neither are The Wanted. Just a load of hype as usual.

Blurred Lines for five weeks at #1. :D

Both are pretty close - especially The Wanted. How can you say they are 'nowhere near'?!

The Wanted entered at like 60% due to pre-orders though, so it isn't suprising to see them ahead. At the rate Icona Pop are increasing, they'll be ahead tomorrow.

Don't forget their EP is ahead of The Wanted too and they have a bunch of remixes rising atm.

I agree, at least one of the two will reach 90% of Robin at least by the end of tomorrow - and probably both (or even Will as well depending how well that holds up). It is way too early to start saying that they will end up nowhere near.

Sorry Ryan but I can't see Icona Pop being #1 this week now. Maybe I'm just being cynical but I can see it stalling at #2.

I'm not suggesting they will be #1, I can see it getting to #2 or #3 instead. But people that are saying they are "flopping" and "have no chance", I just don't believe they can say that when they are easily the greatest gainers at the moment.

I know I sound like a broken record, but I get very passionate about certain songs! Just like all of the big Saturdays fans will do when 'Gentleman' is released next week, and the many Iggy fans will be when 'Bounce' is released the following week. :kink:

I can assure you, as one of the biggest Iggy fans here, that I will not be posting every 15 minutes with Bounce updates.
If Icona Pop dosen't get to #1, I would prefer Robin Thicke for a 5th week, getting 5 consecutives weeks run at #1 are pretty rare these days.

But unfortunately jmmc will :(

Icona Pop are the biggest gainers because all there pre orders went into the album chart so they are slowly catching up to the wanted.
