September 26, 20169 yr Would be wonderful of Passenger can retain the number 1 position. From the wide range of new entries i would think Marillion and My Chemical Romance will be the most likely 2 to drop from their current positions and officially have lower positions on Friday.
September 26, 20169 yr Yes at Passenger - such a solid album and the fact that they have priced the standard version at £4.99 could just give him the edge to hold on. Surprised that Shawn has not got it though - he's had a huge hit and sales are low, also disappointing to see Idina scraping Top 40 :nocheer:
September 26, 20169 yr Led Zeppelin album already out of the Top 40 :o Olly Murs going to continue his wacky chart run by dropping out of the Top 25  Personally, I would be quite happy if that Top 5 in the singles stayed the same, decent movement there :D Edited September 26, 20169 yr by PeteFromLeeds
September 26, 20169 yr Pretty close between the top 2, not beyond the realms of fantasy that Closer could still snatch this back perhaps? Excellent to see Ain't Giving Up back in the top 40, I saw that was picking up on streaming so hopefully can climb into a more comfortable position come Fri!
September 26, 20169 yr Looks very close at the top of the singles chart. James will likely snatch it though with streaming/airplay etc continuing to increase.
September 26, 20169 yr ohh decent sales for the top 4 albums, most surprised at Marillion!!!! Yes, it would have been ludicrous if Bastille made it a third week at the top!
September 26, 20169 yr  @ 9 NE's in the album top10    bruce springsteen FTW :cheer:, the other 2 options are too terrible for words :puke: ~ alas i fear 'illuminate' will win out with a streaming advantage :nocheer: URGH @ that james arthur abomination closing in on #1 :manson: ~ by the far worst #1 of 2016, which is quite something to outdo the likes of ‘7 years’, 'pillowtalk’ and ‘stitches’! :puke: :mansoncheer: :puke:
September 26, 20169 yr After a long drought we have a British #1 :magic: but it had to be another ex X-Factor contestant after Zayn, I reckon The Chainmsokers will get it back later in the week. Gets me thinking the next British #1 will be the X Factor winners track  Hopefully Robbie Williams will get there, I quite like H.E.S. but I think its only a buzz track.
September 26, 20169 yr The top 10 actually isn't looking that stale for once (although that could well change by Friday). I wouldn't mind James Arthur getting the #1 purely for freshness sake but he's probably gonna be lodged there for a while himself -_-
September 26, 20169 yr Brilliant to see Passenger at number 1. Brilliant sales. Anyone know what the two Whispers albums sold on first week?
September 26, 20169 yr This could be a good battle for the number 1 and I think will come down to how much James can increase on streaming. Download wise he has pushed Chainsmokers to 0.5 and streaming is still on the increase.
September 26, 20169 yr just checked how the Whispers albums did for Passenger on week 1: 5 Whispers 23,278 12 Whispers II 5,423 Edited September 26, 20169 yr by Bjork
September 26, 20169 yr I'm gonna say the top 3 albums on Sunday could be... 1. Bruce Springsteen 2. Shawn Mendes 3. Passenger *edit - I mean Friday of course. Edited September 26, 20169 yr by mr_pmt
September 26, 20169 yr I think the battle is between Bruce and Passenger and Shawn will be number 3 as a lot of his fans would be more the style to purchase instantly.
