September 25, 20178 yr Has 'Heroes' by David Bowie been re-issued on vinyl then? that seems like the only explanation for its re-appearance at #41. Great to see Post Malone in the top 3, hope he can push Dua out or better yet pull of the ultimate upset and unseat Sam Smith. That's a great climb for Stefflon Don too to #14 and lol at Big Shaq actually looking somewhat likely to go top 40 this week. *_ Lawd at Kamaliya higher than new releases by DJ Snake and ALMA in the midweeks :drama: Hopefully it'll fall well short of the top 100 by Friday just as it did last week though.
September 25, 20178 yr I didn't know how Fergie's new album would perform but the fact that it's going to open with just over 2,000 and scraping the top forty is shocking. I'm guessing she will be returning to the Black Eyed Peas sooner rather than later, what an absolute mess of a campaign, arguably the messiest campaign I've seen. Disappointed that Macklemore's new album is going to miss the top 15 but it's not really had any hype / buzz surrounding it.

The BEPs and Fergie need each other seeing as will.i.am hasn't been a chart presence for years and Fergie just keeps flopping, I really think a BEPs comeback would massively underperform without Fergie (and unless they drastically change their style to fit in with today's music climate, it may massively underperform with her).
September 25, 20178 yr Any particular reason why Heroes by David Bowie is #41 in the singles chart? A limited edition picture-disc was released this week to celebrate its 40th anniversary. I expect it to fall outside the top 75 come Friday.

September 25, 20178 yr Hope Katy can hold on for a top 20 placing come Friday! Nice to see the album chart picking with decent sales as we get closer to Q4! Shame about Fergie, but the campaign has been a bit of a mess. At least she got a top 3 hit from it! Maybe "You Already Know" can catch on? Surprised capital haven't played it at all. They played "L.A.LOVE (La La)" a lot.

September 25, 20178 yr So Marc Almond's Album has actually gone up (to #8) from the position we got in yesterday's mini-update (ie #9), I would still have thought it will drop in next few days but I don't see too many Albums that will overtake it, now looking like the first Top 20 of his solo career.

September 25, 20178 yr They've been putting out these David Bowie picture discs for five years now (no pun intended) so surely this isn't the first one to enter the mids? It's a nice disc actually, but I can't justify paying £12:99 for it. There are also a couple of new remixes of "Heroes" to tie in with the anniversary and the forthcoming boxed set so it could do relatively well on the sales chart. I preusme it is also his most-streamed song, but obviously not in the same league as current hits.
