December 30, 20196 yr Wonder if the new single will save Camilas era? *Goes to stream Mariah to keep her in the top 100 for another week*
December 30, 20196 yr But do you really think Amazon is that popular to justify it being that high? I'm gonna need to see something concrete before I believe it's as big as y'all say it is In order to get the number one last week it obviously needed a big popular amount of subscribers so yes it is big enough to still be in there especially if it's on normal playlists. One of the big reasons imo is the amount who have recently subscribed for the premier league football in the past 2 months.

December 30, 20196 yr I know it probably didn’t count for much but Ellie would’ve been Amazon and YouTube combined, but the concrete evidence is there with the sales figures?
December 30, 20196 yr I know it probably didn’t count for much but Ellie would’ve been Amazon and YouTube combined, but the concrete evidence is there with the sales figures? No one trusts them after last week
December 30, 20196 yr But do you really think Amazon is that popular to justify it being that high? I'm gonna need to see something concrete before I believe it's as big as y'all say it is The thing with amazon is although it won’t be most people’s core music service, they will probably have prime for postage, film, tv streaming, kindle downloads etc. The boost in Alexa popularity helps too and I imagine a lot would be using Alexa for requests like this or using the basic music service for general party playlists. The basic prime catalogue is also more basic so the songs on them will be played much more. Spotify/Apple have practically everything now so the streams are spread across many more songs. As the music still comes from a subscription, my understanding is the streams are still considered premium even if the subscription isn’t for amazon unlimited music.
December 30, 20196 yr So how is Ellie #11 when every other Christmas song dropped outside the top 60? I thought the whole explanation was people asked Alexa to "play Christmas music"? Last Christmas is at #57 in today's update!
December 30, 20196 yr ^^^ It's all just a joke and a mess. ACR. Resets. Streaming points paid/unpaid. YouTube streams. Mariah was number 1 but wasn't number one (I'm not particularly a fan of Mariah or Ellie - just a fan of fairness)! Not sure how to fix it though. So much of the fun is been sucked out of it as manipulation is just too dominant.
December 30, 20196 yr So what's your answer just have the song with the most streams being no1? We tried that remember and the charts were so stale it was ridiculous
December 30, 20196 yr We tried that remember and the charts were so stale it was ridiculous  It is still ridiculous, just more artificial.
December 30, 20196 yr We tried that remember and the charts were so stale it was ridiculous  That was my point!
December 30, 20196 yr I'm guessing the OCC have decided to take off all Motion Picture Cast Recording albums from the chart without making an announcement about it, now you mention it I've had a look through the album chart and not a single one is there.
December 30, 20196 yr thats crazy how they change the rules without making any announcement think there were 3 cast albums last weeks, A Star is born, The Greatest Showman and Cats, all gone today
December 30, 20196 yr The Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack was removed a few weeks ago, but randomly came back at #100 this week
December 30, 20196 yr The Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack was removed a few weeks ago, but randomly came back at #100 this week That was due to streaming - album streams are attributed to any studio album a song is on, as well as the top selling (pure sales) greatest hits / best of. It was no longer the top selling Queen compilation so it lost the streams and vanished :')
December 30, 20196 yr thats crazy how they change the rules without making any announcement think there were 3 cast albums last weeks, A Star is born, The Greatest Showman and Cats, all gone today If soundtrack albums from the stars stayed in the compilation chart in the first place, George Ezra would have had the biggest album of 2018
