And has he outlined what those “unreasonable demands” are? Or are we just expected to believe him?

She pushed him but he wouldn't say specifically what they were, just that they were "unreasonable" and unacceptable" to us. Looks like he's the chosen one doing the TV studios today.

So he’s probably lying.

I wonder if they’re bigging this all up so that Boris ‘saves’ Brexit with a deal after he failed to save Christmas.
Hancock seems to be the government puppy dog who’ll do anything he’s told!

I bet no-one else wanted to appear this morning. :( Apparently Gove told Piers Morgan that they ask for volunteers from the Cabinet first and if no-one offers someone gets told to do certain news shows and radio etc.

I’m stuck in this once great country with a new coronavirus variant, soon to be followed by food shortages.

Happy f***ing Christmas.

The No Deal propaganda is being hyped up to distract from the fuck up over Covid-19 and Christmas, the BBC willingly obliging to amplify it of course because their news coverage is absolute dog shit at this point.

Chris believes it because he has the critical faculties of a MELON.

So when do you reckon this deal will be announced then? They're leaving it a bit late!

I'd assume at the last possible moment to minimise any scrutinty, we'll see. Only 11 days to go..

So theoretically they could come to a deal on the 11th of those days and then it would be easy to put a short extension in for ratifying the deal with the EU member states?

Part of me thinks the government is happy that the EU is about to shut down all travel from the UK because it avoids chaos on the 1st so they can go „look no deal is fine“ and thick c**ts like the likes of Chris will lap it up and believe it (coz our complicit media will just repeat it uncritically) when really it’s because everyone has been bloody banned from Europe that’s what is at play.
No deal (likely) or a deal of sorts signed off in the new year?

Seems likely to me, officially no deal but the blow will be dulled due to COVID chaos, then before it looks like the bad times are due to no deal rather than a COVID lockdown, some hastily signed deal to take away the worst excesses will be fast tracked as the quarantine begins to lift.

Definitely agree with Silas that they'll be happy in one way that this latest crisis is going to provide some cover for the no deal changeover.

I wonder how the France travel restrictions will affect Brexit, I know currently its only 48hrs but if it goes on for a while after that in some form then Boris may not be as worried about delays at Dover associated with no deal Brexit as might be happening anyway for this other reason.
