April 29, 20205 yr Is Don't Start Now down??? No idea, I know as much as you do! :heehee: I just checked Roses and Physical and they're still up, but not by loads. With the way streaming figures are going at the moment, they could still be going to ACR on Friday. Hard to call!
April 29, 20205 yr I really hope Abel can have his last week at #1 if he's looking to go on ACR next week.
April 29, 20205 yr If Don't Start Now avoids ACR and Blinding Lights falls :drama: :drama: :drama: :drama: :drama:
April 29, 20205 yr Liking the 2/3 Scottish top 3 albums! If Live Lounge Allstars are set to do 10k today, they probably need at least 20k tomorrow, looks a big ask
April 29, 20205 yr The Weeknd isn't really pulling away that quickly, the strong Apple Music numbers of 'Times Like These' clearly helping it stay fairly competitive here, had a pretty big second wind of sales following further pushing today so it looks like the #1 could still go either way. Wonder if the OCC will publish an article for the Thursday mids again like they did last week if it's looking to be close.
April 29, 20205 yr Thanks Martin, I really thought it was in danger of leaving top 10, so great news at #8 :cheer:
April 29, 20205 yr #8 OMG YES My streaming parties are actually helping :cheeseblock: Who needs Hot Hits?
April 29, 20205 yr Captain tom falling far to fast, happy that gerry cinnamon is back in the top 3 albums. Live lounge have no hope now of number 1. Edited April 29, 20205 yr by Feel_The_Fever
April 29, 20205 yr I am hoping for it! Although she is in a similar position at this time of week as she was the last two weeks where she's just slipped out. I'm not sure it will catch on as it's stalling now but it does deserve at least a week top 40 considering how close its been already!
April 29, 20205 yr Don't Start Now is following the same exact pattern as Blinding Lights on Spotify, both down 10% approx relative to last week, so think they're heading for ACR for sure... last 3 days and specially today have been very bad
April 29, 20205 yr but also they could have made the tv program on Saturday or Sunday They showed the TV programme on Thursday because the main point of it was to support the NHS financially and morally. Since lockdown every Thursday has been a sort of "show your appreciation for the NHS day" with the clapping that takes place at 8 PM every week so they timed the programme to coincide with that knowing that it would result in high viewing figures and also to give extra moral support to NHS workers. It would have gone directly toe to toe with Britain's Got Talent if it had been shown on Saturday. Friday could have been an option but as I mentioned earlier I think they really wanted it to be on at the same time as the clapping for the NHS which they ended up including in the programme.
