Out first is the 2001 Moulin Rouge soundtrack 'Lady Marmalade' - solidifying Buzzjack's disdain for the song after it finished right at the bottom of the Favourite Noughties Single rate. Back at the start of the new millennium it was the pop girl collaboration everyone needed. Featuring rapper Lil Kim, R&B star Mya, pre-breakthrough Pink and the biggest draw of the line-up Christina Aguilera, the song was a massive success worldwide. It eclipsed the success of both the Labelle original - which peaked at #1 in the US but missed the top 10 in the UK - and the All Saints version which peaked at #1 in the UK but didn't chart in the US. This version managed to become a chart topper on both sides of the Atlantic! I personally don't get the lack of love for this track - the vocals are brilliant, especially Christina's.

Will be stuck with this for a while, but So What (sorry T Boy ), I like everything else left too much and this got old super quickly.

Lady Marmalade is nothing special, probs would have been my next target.

Plan White Ts to get the hell outta here!

Hey There Delilah - it was EVERYWHERE back in 2007 even when I wasn't trying to discover music! Surprised Lady Marmalade is out first, that still holds up today imo.

Wow I had no idea Lady Marmalade was so disliked, I actually thought it could’ve won from this list

Gone for Delilah
