December 7, 20205 yr I suspect there may be an issue with bundles that have been ordered from Shawn's UK store as a lot of people don't seem to have had them shipped yet if bought together, so theoretically if this hadn't happened sales might be a little higher than they are. Hopefully it'll resolve itself at some point in the week.

December 7, 20205 yr I was expecting comments on Shawn's sales but he's never been one for big first week sales and the reception to the singles has been much milder than previous albums. 'Illuminate' debuted with 15,554 in 2016 and his self-titled album debuted with 23,419 in 2018. If he's on 7.9k today that puts him on course for, what, ~15k for the week? That still means he's lost 8000 fans in 2 years, so it's still an underperformance however you look at it. And he's not one for pushing lots of post-album singles either so it's not like it will be a trickle seller, the first week sales are important for him.

And he's not one for pushing lots of post-album singles either so it's not like it will be a trickle seller, the first week sales are important for him. He's actually not such a bad trickle seller, despite the lack of post-album singles - all three albums have had good top 200 longevity!

December 7, 20205 yr Not wanting to jinx it but I think this could be Mariah's week?! :o seems the perfect combo of low sales and early Christmas uptake before the charity singles get in there. Also interesting to see Wham sticking quite close to her, perhaps that'll be the future track that needs to finally reach #1?
