May 18, 20224 yr Come on Sam :w00t: Hopefully the Eurovision Edit released today and the fact the CD singles have sold out will push him ahead further tomorrow
May 18, 20224 yr Would love to see Sam at #1! I hope he sells enough CDs/on iTunes to keep the top spot come Friday. :cheer:
May 18, 20224 yr Sam beat Harry by 4,314 between the Monday and Tuesday updates and by 2,860 between the Tuesday and Wednesday updates then - a smaller margin as his streaming has dropped off but the downloads (and maybe CD sales? not sure if they were already added, have been added throughout the week or are yet to be added to that's a bit of a question mark) have clearly still been sufficient to overcome the streaming gap and they will have got another boost today from the release of the Eurovision edit. At this point I think it's now looking more likely than not that Sam will get the #1 and possibly still increasing the lead a little further, but not 100% sure of that still - I wonder if we'll get another update from the OCC tomorrow after them giving us a rare Tuesday snapshot. Shame about the third Kendrick track dropping out of the top 10 now but hopefully the other two are safe to hang on with them still being at #6/#7, glad that 'N95' has now overtaken 'Die Hard' as well! Florence definitely looking secure for the #1 album now since Kendrick has only closed the gap by about 4k since Monday, it'll still probably close more but she's on course to remain a few thousand ahead it appears. Kendrick looking like he'll beat the first week streams of his last album but probably fall short of its overall debut due to the complete collapse of the digital albums market ('DAMN.' did 10.3k downloads in its first week while it appears the new one is going to do less than 2k). Yay for Kalush being top 40 today although #34 doesn't seem secure enough, can see them dropping out again by Friday unfortunately.
May 18, 20224 yr Is there a CD single available for Sam Ryder? there was but apparently they've sold out
May 18, 20224 yr FYI....Kalush - Stefana #34 I hope it can stay top 40 and Sam Ryder take the number 1.
May 18, 20224 yr I'd imagine Tom Grennan is safe for top 40 this week too as that's climbed a lot on Spotify today and Maneskin should be fine too as they've held up there today. Only a two place drop since yesterday.
May 18, 20224 yr I Hope Harry Can Stay At No.1 For A 7th Week & Then Sam Ryder Hopefully Will Reach No.1 The Week After (27th May)
May 18, 20224 yr I Hope Harry Can Stay At No.1 For A 7th Week & Then Sam Ryder Hopefully Will Reach No.1 The Week After (27th May) Sam won’t stand a chance next week as Harry’s album is dropping so As it was will get a massive boost.
May 18, 20224 yr I Hope Harry Can Stay At No.1 For A 7th Week & Then Sam Ryder Hopefully Will Reach No.1 The Week After (27th May) i think this week will be sam's only week to be able to get the #1, eurovision was at the weekend so the hype and excitement is already built up... it'll be hard to keep that momentum. Plus harrys album is out friday so If sam makes it this week harry will be back at #1 next week without a doubt
May 18, 20224 yr also the eurovision edit of space man is currently at #2 on itunes so should help add to his sales to get him to #1! keep streaming/ downloading guys!!! as the occ wrote in their article. its the most exciting chart battle of the year!
May 18, 20224 yr I'm thinking Harry may even be #1 next week with something else if he pushes a new single and video with the album simultaneously?
May 18, 20224 yr I Hope Harry Can Stay At No.1 For A 7th Week & Then Sam Ryder Hopefully Will Reach No.1 The Week After (27th May) Lol at this being all starting capitals like a news story!
