Maybe this is the knock on effect of the Kate Bush fiasco starting to manifest. 'Matilda' isn't a huge fave for me from Harry's album but cool if it does finally get a top 40 peak now as it clearly deserves one. Tame Impala possibly coming for their highest singles chart position to date with their Gorillaz feature? (Their highest before was #59 for 'Breathe Deeper', while Gorillaz' own highest position since 2010 was only one place higher than that for 'Momentary Bliss' w/ slowthai and Slaves). It has dropped off a fair amount on Spotify now though so not for sure.

September 6, 20223 yr whats the Tom Jones track? It’s a cover of Bernice Johnson Reagon’s “I Won’t Crumble With You If You Fall”, from his 2021 album “Surrounded By Time”. It’s entered the charts following him performing & speaking about it on The Voice UK.

September 6, 20223 yr I kinda think the OCC opened the can of worms when they reset RUTH, so now they cannot say no to Another Love I reckon.
September 6, 20223 yr I don’t know why they couldn’t have just said that with RUTH the fact that the song was due to reach a new chart peak made the case stronger for a reset. ACR is mainly supposed to keep songs that are not peaking out of the way after all. Then they wouldn’t have to do the same for Another Love.
