Coincidently a few days ago I came across a thread that I made in January 2016 on this subject and thought about bumping it for newer members to see but decided not to:

http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...=186020&hl=

But anyway it was "Jess Glynne - Hold My Hand" in the UK chart. Uptown Funk in the US hot 100.

I gave a different answer in that thread so clearly the dates confused me back then

Yeah, unfortunately according to the OCC 'Sorry' was number one covering the period 26th February - 4th March.

I believe BJ was incepted on the 6th?

I really am trying to not make it Chico  :(

Ah I knew this concept would surely have been tried before, but incidentally I didn’t take part in that one, perhaps I was still relatively new to BuzzJack at the time and hadn’t started posting properly. Anyway thanks for sharing Houdini! ;)

Sorry-Madonna March 2006

Given I joined in 2016, there was no escaping it being this song!

(incidentally it doesn't sound anywhere near as bad as it did on its fifteenth week at number 1!)

The OCC website disagrees... :kink:

Y'all Starlight and Dobbo both win as well (and Rush tbh). One_For_Sorrow loses.

Is my UK one wrong?

Rockstar by Dababy/Roddy Ricch! Tbf at the time I did like this but for obvious reasons it's aged horrendously, will not be giving that man any of my streams x

It was the second week for Bingo Players & Far East Movement's Get Up (Rattle). The duck song! I liked it at the time but haven't actually heard it for years now.

I didn't realise I was less than 2 weeks away from my 10 year anniversary of joining the site :o

King by Years & Years

Very fitting, since that was also #1 on my weekly personal chart back when I used to do these types of things.

I see now that I joined exactly on a day when the chart was published!

And it was the beginning of a 2-week run at #1 for...

Sam Smith feat. John Legend - Lay Me Down

I think it’s just that Bré rates Payphone as his all time most hated UK #1 single ever!

*2nd most

it's better than 'Dance Monkey' x

Tinchy Stryder ‘Never Leave You’

Can’t say I’ve ever heard of it :D
