March 11, 20242 yr Bananarama and Girls Aloud top 10 is great to see even though I know it won't stay that way and kylie just behind at 11. It's great to have another kylie album available on vinyl but it's one of my least fave albums from her.

March 11, 20242 yr Trap GOAT Kim Gordon grabbing that midweek top 40 position :clap: her first solo album in 2019 charted at #79, I guess this one probably won't beat that but will keep fingers crossed for it to hang onto the top 100 x Good that Ariana looks set to comfortably beat the opening of 'positions' especially considering how well her streaming has held up so far ~ (I'd guess it'd be on par with if not ahead of where 'positions' was at this stage even if you excluded the vinyl sales).
March 11, 20242 yr Have all of Ariana’s sales been counted already or are there still some to come from her store? With the different covers I think I was expecting a little more. We did get a “slightly deluxe” edition added to streaming sites today though. I do think it’s probably outselling the first week of positions. Should she should hold on and get the number one which seems safe is it just Madonna and Taylor who’ve managed 5 (or more) consecutive number one albums in a row here in the UK so far? March 11, 20242 yr Really shocked that Beyoncé is that far ahead of Benson, expected it to be much closer. I think he could still catch her if she keeps falling on Spotify and he keeps rising. What is the Amazon music top 5 for those with Prime? That could make all the difference this week.

I’m sure it will end up a lot closer but it’s a big gap to catch when there isn’t much between them day to day so right now looks 85/15 at best in favour of Beyonce
March 11, 20242 yr The gap between Beyoncé and Benson is still smaller than it was at the same stage last week (gone from 7.4k to 3.6k) - I'm guessing we're yet to have a day where Benson has actually outsold Beyoncé, he's just closing the daily deficit, so she's most likely safe for this week and I expect she'll pull further ahead by Friday but she will be vulnerable next week if the gap keeps closing at the same rate. Although it is starting to look like Ariana may be a stronger contender than Benson next week anyway.

Well I doubt that since midweek is where Benson usually gets his biggest streams and the opposite is true for Beyonce but I’m thinking he’ll get within 1500 sales probably not enough
