Banananrama should be safe for top 30, Girls Aloud Top 40 but not sure if Kylie can hang on in the top 40.

I think Bananarama will just hold on to a Top 30 due to signings, GA I think will end up in the 41-45 region and Kylie in the 60s :nocheer:

Nice to see Ariana almost at the sales of Positions already. With 2 more days + the usual missing streaming data, it looks good for her to do 35k+ come Friday.

Looks like Beyoncé is just enough ahead of everyone to get a 4th week at #1. Ariana will likely debut at #2. Although depending on the songs momentum there is a slim chance of taking #1 Friday. But given the Thursday estimated streams it seems unlikely.

I hope Girls Aloud dont end up at 41, id love if they could hold top 40 and outpeak sound of the underground release which made number 42.

She’s 3k behind benson and got just 28k more on Spotify so not really sure how 2 seems likely but whatever

I would love benson to snatch it this week to switch it up a bit but at least it looks like we’ll almost certainly have a new #1 next week!

I hope not either, but I wouldn't really be bothered as it's not as if it's its peak or anything.

Odd that Benson Boone has 7 day spotify streams of 3,624,409 compared to Beyonce with 3,287,429 and yet he is still in considerable deficit overall.

Must have forgotten o podt it BUT:

A tiktok ban has passed the Hoos!!! Assuming it also passes the Senate, it will be banned in the US. That will have a MAJORRRR effect on the charts both in the US and here!!! And if it is banned in the US, how long before a UK ban?

Beyoncé's ahead on Apple and Amazon and has a download advantage too, which will offset at least some of Benson's Spotify (and YouTube if last week is anything to go by) advantage. Then it would appear Benson's got a higher proportion of his streams from ad-funded (free) accounts, compared to Beyoncé having a higher proportion from premium, which makes up the rest of the difference.

It's a shame Bananarama couldn't hold on to the top 10 but obviously not at all surprising. I only recently discovered that in their entire career they've only had TWO top 10 albums (and one of those was a greatest hits) :o wtf?! It's criminal in itself that Wow didn't even make the top 20.
poor Bananarama in the 80s they were the kinda band that sold singles but not albums :/

I love Girls Aloud but I knew it would be a flop, £20 for 2 songs isn't worth the money (this is coming from someone who has brought all their cds apart from the re release of SOTU), I think the re release only really appeals to those that may not have brought the original album.

What? There’s about 45 songs across the 3 discs, including previously unreleased tracks, as well as b-sides, demos and remixes. It’s probably one of the best re-releases I’ve ever seen. It puts Spice Girls cash grabs, and many other artists, to absolute shame.

Way too expensive!! And now that it's a flop, even fewer people will want it. Some might even retuen it so as not to own a flop

That is absolutely absurd, compared to just about any of these other commonplace re-releases you're getting so much new content and value for your buck. It's like a dream product for any fan to have.

This isn't the first time you've made this bizarre claim either.

I disagree 2 songs isn't alot of content for £20. Alot of Girls Aloud fans agree with me here and it reflects on the sales.

As someone who owns all their cds (silver case singles box) ten cd and both versions of the sound of underground. I own all their dvds , been to every tour (normally I go 4 or 5 dates) I own all their tour dates shirts, pandora Cheryl and Sarah bracelets, ga foam finger, the rubber bracelets. The red GA jacket. Kimberley's kilimanjaro signed jacket I bidded of the red nose day site (whilst on a pc whilst abroad). The eye lashes. Promo product. Girls Aloud book. I spend over £200 on dainty doll. I brought all their solo music. Travelled 125 miles to meet them at the lash signing. Travelled 125 miles to watch Kimberley in Sherk twice.

This isn't a dream product, the is nothing special about it.

How do you spend your other millions?!

But yes, it is too expensive, ssp when people don't buy physicald these dayz

I didn't buy the Spice Girls album either but to be fair I didn't love SG anywhere near as much as I love Girls Aloud. I have seen SP once live wheres i have seen GA about 29 times live (. I own all their b sides and the demos, the only tracks on the 3 disk cd I don't own is disco bunny and wicked game. As for the remixes I am not a fan of most the remixes.

So for me it is £20 for the only songs I don't own. You don't have to agree that is fine, however their cd sales will reflect this. Hmv have already dropped the price of Sound of the underground from £19.99 to £10.99. It is a fantastic buy though if you don't own WWTNS or don't own the b sides/demos.

Lol not rich just I am very fussy with music and apart from the Saturdays the wasn't any singers I loved like Girls Aloud, growing up my life was all about Girls Aloud, sad I know :P , I was in high school when they started and any money I did have would go on Girls Aloud products lol. For £20 I expect 5 or 6 unheard of songs I would have rushed to buy their cd. I love physical because the sound is better quality then downloads but I understand why people don't buy it so much now days.
