Really great to get an 18 at the end, thank you Yobnedorica - and Aelandor for the 15 x . Although I feel Aelandor rivalled me this time for having the most obvious 18 pick ever, I called max points going to Zanmatony from AEL from the start.

 

Not a bad result overall, though I did feel this was one of my wide-appealing and better power metal songs so I was hoping to maybe sneak into the top 20 at least, sadly not to be.

 

Well done blacksquare, the winner was quite far off my votes but I can see how it won, very pleased to see 'Summer Dreaming' and 'Zur Party' in 2nd and 3rd though. And excellent to see 'Power Of The Beast' in the top 10, that's one of the best songs entered to BJSC in a long time, all those combinations of influences with those glorious power chords, I was even hoping it could win at one point but that might have been a stretch.

Well done Blacksquare! In a very strong contest I think a lot of tracks overshadowed that for me, I bet it's a grower. Fab hosting Rob, schedule in a break for yourself soon in what sounds like a very hectic phase! Thanks to all fans of Juice Newton, especially Leww and Patrick for cheerleading, much appreciated and unexpected - I always thought it was borderline qualify so 13th is fab, a new position to us, that leaves only 1, 2, 4, 8, 10, 14, 15 for a complete set of top 20 :dance: After Shaggy's rewrite murder of the song it took Deadpool to remind me how great Juice Newton's version is (and they stuck the original Merillee Rush version in Deadpool & Wolverine to boot) :D I'm off to see P.P.Arnold sing it in 2 or 3 months.

Special thanks to Addy and Kath too for being the ‘Illusion’ hype girlies this month. It was such a strong finale (the way I am obsessed with ‘Hyper Feminine’ and 'Endorphines’ especially) so for this to be the first Neliönoir win feels a little insane. <3

 

My goal was to qualify with a French song after my French flop in February (justice for Theodora) so this is just incredible *.*

 

Neliönoir is going to be reaching out to any country that is willing to listen/help as the reality of hosting is sending this lil nation into a panic x

Pretty shook at Rd'Á/'Zur Party' being as high as 3rd but it's very deserved, what a bop! And 'Saturn Return' is the best Rêve entry to date so very glad to see it top 5 :wub:

 

Definitely not here for Zanmatony or Ajanaeda in the bottom 5. Overall it was a super strong contest, high quality across the board, but I hate to see either of these be overlooked </3

Quite impressed that I managed to significantly improve on semi final performance where I barely scraped by despite getting 12 from Eledan (who didn't vote in the final) and 12 from Altyr (who went on to give me 0 in the final). So excluding those two oddities I actually took just 24 points from the semis into the final.

I didn't vote for a whole lot in the top 10 (a rare Jadakissnia and Kathaldazia snub that hasn't hurt them!) but very happy with that winner and ty for hosting.

Thank you so much <3 Just realised it's my 8th time landing in 10th place. I've had two 11ths recently so it was nice to land on the right side.
