I think this is wrong. Probably there’s two bits here, firstly as people have already stated it’s all about the economy. If people feel poorer they’ll blame the government. Even though the US economy is doing half alright, inflation was not. It’s an easy sound bite to believe. We saw the same here too.

 

The Democrats also did not appeal to the working class white men, you need to appeal to Joe Sixpack and those Andrew Tate led males. Not only that, the Latino population often heavily skews Conservative values so not really sure running a totally progressive campaign is the right thing. Quite. Of the 3 Democrat campaigns against Trump, Biden's was by far the most progressive and appealing to the left base, even if Kamala herself holds more progressive values than Biden.

 

As much as I'd like to claim so, I'm unsure that that's a correlation, it might just be the tides of economy swinging against Trump that middle time, it might be America being sexist. But it's not like cosying up to the moderate neocons has ever helped the Dems in this era.

The election went as I expected. Never felt the "flow" that the Demoracts needed to win. Only Michelle Obama and Oprah would have that in this day and age, not Kamala.

did i say it had been? i was replying to someone claiming hamas was 'beating their meat' in celebration of this? but obviously that is not the case because although the biden administration has been heavily funding this, trump is even closer to Satanyahu which makes me believe he will help isnotreal even more in their genocide against the Palestinians?

Well there is nothing left to destroy at this point. Pretty much every building is gone. They were probably going to scale back soon anyway so now Trump can take credit for creating peace in sure he’ll rush through that process

i hope people realise the damage these far-right influencers are doing to a new generation of young men (not just young white men). some of the exit polls im seeing are painting a very grim picture for the late gen z and very likely gen alpha.

 

then the democrats need to figure out what happened with the significant rightward shift of the latinos. i dont believe being progressive is an issue here despite the socially conservative leanings of this demographic, because some of the progressive policies do benefit them (or in other words the conservative policies can do a lot of harm to this community).
