Do really need boring stick season climb old tied need go dust bin long with two sweet and Austin to old song choking life out singles chart

Could say same for Mariah, why can't we have phresh Christmas music doing well

I do like Myles Smith's new one but I'd argue that 'Wait For You' is just as good, so I'm at a loss to why 'Nice To Meet You' is heading for top 20 off the bat when the latter couldn't even go top 50!
What an actual other new entry with Chrystal and "The Days"? Let's hope so.

Absolutely this. Spotify is what's made the difference I guess but can't fathom why it's gone this way...

Spotify? It's the outlet where it's doing worse. He had a big splash start on both Apple and Amazon, especially the latter

must have had some pre-release buzz

Yes it did for sure I had heard the chorus of it on tiktok a couple times in recent weeks

Thats how you get hits now, the days of Spotify playlists making #1s are gone

the new Myles song was #1 on NMF so it had a good day#1 but the NMF effect lasts 1 day

the song is not on HH, where Stargazing is still track #5

Screaming!!!

Wham's surge is surely more a product of increased love for the 80s in the past decade/Mariah fatigue?

They started to overtake Mariah around the year George passed away and I think the momentum has continued ever since then.

This completely past me by - why is Labour back in the chart?

It's become a bit of a women's rights anthem in the wake of the US election results
