Also looking like Sabrina will be number 1 album again unless the Lottery Winners have a campaign as aggressive as their last album...

Wonder if The Lottery Winners will get a second week in the top 200 this time P

Not sure The Horrors' sales at this stage are likely to be enough for them to stay top 10 for the week unfortunately but hopefully top 20 at least.

Really enjoying this latest era from The Horrors, hope Night Life holds up okay throughout the week as their last few albums all went top 10.

Yeh, listened to the new album on the commute home this evening and there’s some nice tracks. Obv ‘The Silence that Remains’ is 11/10 but ‘Lotus Eater’, ‘Trail By Fire’, ‘LA Runway’ and ‘More Than Life’ are all really strong. Especially the latter, that’s my favourite of the unheard album tracks.

Very aesthetically pleasing to see these side by side 🙂

J Hope will surely fall out, looks like we won't have any new entries this week ☹️ When was the last week that happened?

It's been a while certainly. Radio 1 had to cancel the show on a week with 9 new entries plus 'Hometown Glory' coming back - the Sleep Token and JADE songs probably won't get a chart show play now.

PPC looking like it might climb back to number 2 this week then

Jade still top 75at this point at least she hasn't just fallen straight out on week 2 this time

Where’s Gaga in the albums chart?

#6. I expected she'll rise back into the top 5 come end of the week as 2 new entries ahead will likely fall somewhat.

Selena’s album is absolutely dreadful, not surprised it’s performing so poorly despite all the variants.

Selena Gomez #4? Totally flopped!

So Happy for Deacon Blue #2

I’m guessing Selena / Benny wanted to put an album out into the world but it was never going to be a success because there’s not really a crossover in fans or any hype to buy into them as a couple.

If her and Justin decided to make an album I’m sure it would be double the numbers at least 😂

Joking aside the songs I’ve heard aren’t very good so that’s probably a factor too.

for me it's the other way around, when I saw the Mids, the biggest positive surprise was the Selena album, which I was expecting to even miss the top 40 cos I thought no one cared, so seeing it #4 it's a huge surprise for em and a much better performance than ever predicted.

Selena Gomez has never really had a huge album in the UK. Rare was decently successful, 17k units, but still would finish 3rd if she had that kind of debut this week. And that was by far her biggest album, her next biggest opening week did less than 12k. So I dont think what this album is doing is at all out of line with what you'd expect for her, certainly not enough to call it a flop

I knew it was going to have some sales because of the signed art cards, they've been pushing them from the start.

In 2020:

Selena Gomez 17,661 (5,122 cassettes)

No cassettes in the UK this time, and the done a bundle of 3 I think at a reduced price with a signed artcard to achieve those sales in 2020.

Jade at #60 is a travesty

Totally. In an ideal world it should be enjoying an Abracadabra type run!

But most of the chart is what has been placed on certain playlists so it's not like people are listening to what they actually like, it's convenience. A shame.
