Gave a thumbs up for one big final, thinking this would help our chances of catching up with the contests for this year which fell behind.

I'm on holiday from Monday so semis this weekend would be preferable

think we'll need a bit of catching up in terms of schedule so down for a big final if numbers remain below 50 x

1) the schedule is fine

2) it makes no difference whatsoever as 1BF has a longer voting period

I'm torn as ideally I'd prefer semis as it makes it more of a contest and it feels a cheap addition to the qualification streaks if everyone's qualified, but a one big final contest would help catch up time and perhaps relieve the pressure on the next few hosts/winners to turn around the next few contests by the end of the year. (Edit: maybe not then, so have voted for semis.)

(For my two cents, the BJFestivalen was a fun diversion but took too much time away from the main contests, and I say that as someone who finished top 5, a lot of people who entered didn't end up voting in the final, and I wonder whether the drop in entries here is for the same reason.)

Neliönoir are reeling from their first veto sledgehammer and would selfishly vote for a big final after finding another entry this morning. We are now going for gorgeous and ambient 🖤

I don't really mind either way. My song will be relying on not being in a semi with a ton of pop voters so I voted for 1BF, but semis add to the drama/hype each month I guess so it doesn't bother me.

'DEAD' looks like an unlucky veto as it just scraped the multichart and has since dropped out. 'DeathByDevotion' also made my chart (as it did Jade's). Don't know if I've heard 'Candy' but looks a clear veto by those criteria.

All three vetoes have been replaced. Assuming the replacements pass the sniff test, we will be good to go tonight.

And no worries if 1BF goes ahead, the flawless concept I had for the semis will be saved for some time in the future should we have the opportunity to win again.

I'm happy with either, a fresh format in either direction is quite exciting. Semis are fun though so I cast a vote for that.

I don’t mind either way! It might be good to have a 1BF as obviously some interest has dropped since last month so would be good for each country to be part of the contest until the end, might help with numbers going forward.

Whatever guarantees my AQ as second place in the last main contest is where my vote goes!

I went with semis as they bring the drama.

I went with the semis, because I want to see how many of us voting for the semis will end up DNQing :D

Switched my vote to semis as it does make the contest more exciting and allows growers to build hype (will many people just listen the once if it's 1BF?) but I do see the arguments for both. And I'd like to see Phil's semis concept.

I think 1BF would be fun! But it would be cool if we could have some kind of a preview casting round for 'provisional votes out of 10' or something that didn't end up counting, just so we could then compare that with the final result.
