My main potential at the moment is a huge sounding dark pop song that I discovered on the radio when driving home from holiday, but fully expecting others to have their eyes on it, as it has tripled in views since I first watched the music video. So I have a banging hard house back-up planned just in case

I have a few concoctions up my sleeve.

One a British girl group, that’s not the Sugababes, the Germans I originally sent last month but were deemed to potent a threat to ongoing blacksquare dominance by Brayden and a couple of others

At present, I’m sticking with my back up for last contest, which is kind of Charli XCX sounding, so more electronic but not as in your face.

I’ve not tired of it in the last 4 weeks since I chose Frost Children so the fact it’s holding up in my affections should be a good sign.

Wouldn’t surprise me if I changed but I’m not exactly blessed with time for searching while I’m working away at the moment.

might be making my return... thinking about sending a song from a very recent album (as in 1 day old), or failing that, a pop-punk banger from a good filipino sis (but might leave that to @LexC)

As much as I embraced my DNQ, can't deny the fact that it's making me think more than I should with my next choice!!!

As sad as the DNQ was, definitely embrace the positive side of the lack of pressure and the freedom it brings and go with something you just really love

honestly I was so concentrated on getting F1 tickets that I hadn’t thought about entry concepts yet 😅 maybe I’ll just shill for the host’s approval and call it a day

Very much this. My last few entries had the 'hey, you haven't DNQed this year, don't mess it up now' feeling around choosing them, now I don't have that!

Hopefully this means something great, though my flash of inspiration isn't quite there yet.
