Does the BPI certified site just not work for anyone else now on mobile and tablet devices?

I tried to get into the search bar features and it just kept not allowing it.

The site works fine for me on my iPhone

I just love doing the certifications and observing the charts. It pleases my little, autistic brain.

Separate imo - one for each week

I'll be continuing to do the certifications every Friday. It'll be a nice distraction.

Thanks, I haven’t tried it on iPad yet (and not have a desktop pc) but will do later.

Literally the trying to access to search bars (main one & artist) and the site just isn’t allowing that at all.

It doesn't work on my iPhone! Search bar refuses to bring up the keyboard.

No silver certified albums this week

Edited by DanielCarey

Highlights this week: When The Sun Goes Down, Could You Be Loved, By The Way, Sympathy For The Devil, Going Under, Elvis' version of Bridge Over Troubled Water, I See You Baby, You Give Me Something, The Great Divide, The Lost Art Of Keeping A Secret and Little Bit Closer on the singles, and AM, Starboy and Swag on the albums!

'Destination Calabria' and 'STARGAZING' going Platinum we love to see. (The former just mentioned on SyncTube the other day x)

Long overdue and kind of wild to think that Emotions has only only just gone silver. It genuinely feels like one of those songs that everyone knows so the impact feels a lot bigger than that certification suggests

New retro certifications:

ABBA - Dancing Queen (4x Platinum)

920,000 pre February 1994 units + 2,400,000 post February 1994 units = 3,320,000 total chart units!

Bob Marley And The Wailers - Could You Be Loved (3x Platinum)

340,070 pre February 1994 units + 1,800,000 post February 1994 units = 2,140,070 total chart units!

Aztec Camera - Somewhere In My Heart (Gold)

154,071 pre February 1994 units + 400,000 post February 1994 units = 554,071 total chart units!

Bob Seger And The Silver Bullet Band - Old Time Rock And Roll (Gold)

646 1980s units + 400,000 post February 1994 units = 400,646 total chart units

Manfred Mann - Do Wah Diddy Diddy (Silver)

650,000 1960s units + 200,000 post February 1994 units = 850,000 total chart units!

Luther Vandross & Janet Jackson - The Best Things In Life Are Free (Silver)

246,105 pre February 1994 units + 200,000 post February 1994 units = 446,105 total chart units!

Chuck Berry - No Particular Place To Go (Silver)

193,000 1960s units + 200,000 post February 1994 units = 393,000 total chart units

Mariah Carey - Emotions (Silver)

88,032 1991 units + 2,490 1992 units + 200,000 post February 1994 units = 290,522 total chart units!

Barry Manilow - Can't Smile Without You (Silver)

58,801 pre February 1994 units + 200,000 post February 1994 units = 258,801 total chart units!

ABBA - I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do (Silver)

40,000 pre February 1994 units + 200,000 post February 1994 units = 240,000 total chart units!

Two ABBA songs with new certs, one of them astonishingly unused on The Pop Factor! (And 'Dancing Queen' isn't bad either...)

'What Now' immortalised by a Buzzjack meme from before my time here, now gold.

PLATINUM & MULTI-PLATINUM :plat:

ABBA - Dancing Queen (4x)

Sugababes - Push The Button (2x) (once it's in your head try getting the thing out)

Evanescence - Going Under

GOLD :gold:

Bob Seger And The Silver Bullet Band - Old Time Rock And Roll

Bring Me The Horizon - Sleepwalking

ABBA - I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do

Jamiroquai - You Give Me Something

Noah Kahan - The Great Divide

My highlights

I think 'You Give Me Something' is my favourite Jamiroquai song so nice to see that get a certification.

The one directly below that I momentarily read as Kelly Clarkson, I was like "how did she surreptitiously have a song called 'Yale' go silver" lol

High School Musical 2's Sharpay rewarded for her "iced tea imported from England" shoutout on 'Fabulous' with a silver certification in the U.K. cheeseblock

My picks:

I'm not sure though...I'd have thought her debut hit and as yet uncertified VISION OF LOVE would have been the better known song and have accumulated more post 1994 units. I remember when that came out...it was played on radio nonstop and everyone was calling her the next Whitney Houston. Its possibly my favourite Mariah song too so I'm biased! 😊

EMOTIONS is a fun song but I dont recall it then or now being one of her more signature or ubiquitous hits. It didnt even make the top 10 in the UK despite it being the launch song of her highly anticipated second album

Keep in mind those are units achieved after 1994, not including what it sold at the time.
