February 5Feb 5 I've now looked at the results a bit again, it's nice to know most of my votes are in the top 20 but there is one I voted at the very bottom. I'm having mixed thoughts about 'Don't Leave' being last place. Not AQ-ing was probably a blessing in disguise. February 5Feb 5 Many congrats Scene! Admittedly I don't remember at all how the song goes but that's a seriously impressively score, will have to give it another spin to see what I'm missing! Fantastic to start off the year with a first-time winner Not a particularly strong top 10 there, pleased Elëdan & Spodic Empire made it in at least.NOT happy at 2 of my top 3 finishing bottom 5. Terra Avium I could kinda expect although I thought it would pick up more huge scores but gutted that the masses were correct about Summericia flopping, that was my +12 in the semi! D: Maybe the best ever last placer in a final? (excluding my own from BJSC 137 of course )Very pleased with a top half finish for Solas especially after the terrible odds congrats to Iz who almost predicted my position spot on (and Nine who was the only other poster who predded a top half). Was a nice change of pace to see my entry feature in many votes without garnering high scores, indeed not receiving a single 18 but receiving the 7th most out of all songs and even more surprisingly, the joint most votes in the semi back to instrumental entries being our safe haven once again!Well hosted Dan cool theme was cool
February 5Feb 5 Mixed feelings about my result - most people predicted me in the 21-30 range, so I technically overperformed, but it's still a bit of a shame when you've been knocked out of the top 10 towards the end after sitting in there for ages! Happy to have at least stayed top 20 after that drought though. Thanks to everyone who supported TRAITRS 🖤I voted for five songs in the top 10 this time that are all bunched together in that 5th - 9th section! I'm particularly thrilled for Dalisska, my gold medal, who I did hope would attract big fans but didn't think they'd end up so high after a slow start. Glad my silver medal, Danæviia, recovered enough to finish in the top 20 as well. Deandria deserved better but still outperformed my Sara Zozaya entry so silver linings!Cumulonimbia and Summericia were robbed right down there at the bottom.Thank you Dan for a very efficient hosting job!

February 5Feb 5 I just checked in the amazing and necessary 'songs of BJSC' thread and interestingly I've come 28th in the final once before - but I was last that time! It was with Hooverphonic - Mad About You (they have some seriously good stuff btw, especially in the early days!). And also interestingly, I've also come 28th in the semi three times when DNQ'ing, unless I missed something.28 must be my number in BJSC xo

February 5Feb 5 What a fun results show, but genuinely one of the most satisfying in terms of what was at the top of the scoreboard (as in what I expected) - I think I predicted 6 out of the Top 10 correct? (Plus I did have Wubble-U in 10th place and chickened out at the last minute so that would've been 7!). The winner was my top score, absolutely loved it - well done Cheiron, there's been a couple of times you really should have won before so it's overdue! Well done to Cameron with sending one of the most ridiculous songs known to man as well, and to the rest of the Top 10 and everyone who's happy xDefinitely expected our hosts and Klum Rep to do much better!! Yehesi was robbed a bit too xCan't lie, a bit disappointed with my finish - not a vintage result for Aeroche! 29th compared to what it could've been is definitely much better. Seem to have lost my touch comparatively over the last year, but still love my entry a lot. A scrape through in the semi though... eek! I do have a potential that is so ridiculous and sounds like a mish-mash of all the crazy iconic dance BJSC entries that have been sent so it might be time to pull out a swerve!

'The Blue' is better than anything in the final by a large margin, and I'm bitter x

Love to see new winners (even if I see you're not planning on hosting!) - as soon as Leww and Klumzee had you down as a winner, I could see I'd overlooked how much of an obvious crossover appeal the song had. Great winner though, happy to have voted for the first winner of the year. THRILLED that Valencia Grace ended up grabbing top 3 in the end too - I kept doubting it because I thought too many would find it annoying but rightly, it hit big with all its audience. I'm glad Faouzia didn't win purely because I was hovering over vetoing it but in terms of the song - very much deserved top 3 and Botanikka grabbing top 5 even better, what a discovery ❤️LOVE that I'm starting the new year exactly as we left off 2025, finishing between 11th and 15th with around 200pts. My consistency knows NO BOUNDS but I had no idea what to expect with a Greek language ethno-bop so I'll gladly take consistency on this one. Thank you to everyone who voted for it, 29 voters is fantastic. Pretty much all of my main favourites did really well, other than Nelionoir who I'd love to have seen higher. Juranabaijan, POPHub and Pestolia doing better than most predicted is great to see!Fantastic hosting Dan and I've loved the buzz around this contest with so many predictions and so many participants. Hopefully that'll continue into the next contest... wherever that may be!
