Congratulations John, absolutely not my pick as a winner (was somewhere down in the 30s for me ) but a decently fought battle for the top, I did enjoy Pagasa, though I wish I was as into it as the rest of the alt bloc, Hendinia would have been a good winner but it's a fine third, er, second placer.

Congrats John! It did sound a likely victor and was a decent song if not quite vote worthy, I suppose it's for the best Pagasa got deducted as my 18 being just eight points off winning hurts </3 Pleased to see Harmonica, Klum Rep and Rontvia get top 10 positions, think I do prefer that 11-20 section overall though, although woah at Aeroche being that low, I thought that was a surefire contender x

Definitely quite a few of that bottom half I'd have liked a bit higher, I was gonna say that Scotland 2 finishing that low is really surprising, but it only just qualified so I guess that's a good result!

I admittedly checked out a little bit following the DNQ and losing several of my votes, but nonetheless thank you for the great and very efficient hosting Sabrewulf!

Big congrats @Qween, a strong pop song and glad it's one I voted for, although for sure I preferred Hendinia and did slightly expect it to run away. Nevertheless it's my favourite Hendinia entry in some time and delighted to see it do so well, congrats @RobBot. Also great songs from @Klumzee, @LexC (I knew that one though, just a bit) and @dhwe - sad to see the deduction there but so happy it remained in the top five. A brilliant top five, all of which I voted for, which is rare these days!

For my own entry, I'm honestly astonished, pretty much all the odds had it bottom ten, I had no expectations for it whatsoever and assumed it scraped through (it had a DNQ prediction and chat of it being borderline and not competitive), so for it to come third in the semi and eighth in the final is way, way beyond what I'd expected. Thank you so much to all the voters! I have sent Celtic dance before, and never successfully, but I've been loving this song lately and had nothing else I wanted to send (I confirmed very late) so figured I'd take a punt. Really very happy with how it was received and a good instant recovery after the DNQ last month.

My top two - Wholune and Scotland 2, deserved better. But I see Scotland 2 was lucky to be in at all. Three semi 12s from only six votes equating to a Q is an interesting one there; glad to be one of those 12s! I really hoped to see Summericia, Aeroche and Zanmatony make a play for the top 10 as well but all performed respectably.

Dalisska was my favourite in the bottom ten - it deserved more than that, but I'm glad you made the final and didn't have to host without an entry in there. Thank you so much for stepping up @Sabrewulf. Lovely presentation, great pace this evening and a very enjoyable hosting - great work.

really happy with 22nd!!!! was fearing for the worst after a lot of low points and snubs from the alt bloc i thought the night was going to be long… for me to do almost as well as my best why so sirius 2.0 attempts (see what i did there? )

Oh gosh, 10th in my semi. That kinda didn't translate well in the final, being slightly lower middle. Having known that though, I can safely get comfortable about qualifying with something that isn't "big pop" for once in my BJSC life. I finally made it.

I guess it was fate that I would be here to achieve something as one of my personal goals of doing BJSC, and with Sabrewulf hosting whom I am aware was around long ago so there is a sense of finished business or a full circle of sorts.

I am slowly coming to terms with my past time especially when I see I am not the only one that... let's say, wants to try a clean slate. 😅

I don't know yet my direction for 183 but I am sure I'll have something!
