Posted Sunday at 13:152 days In the first Live Show we sadly said goodbye to Nelly Furtado and The Corrs, and now thirteen artists remain and continue on with Pop Fleet 26 on the World of Live Shows, ready to showcase their best ballads, because for Live Show Two the theme is The Ballads of a Broken-Hearted BuzzJack! Who will find Lady BuzzJack and win the grand prize of the £20 Amazon Gift Card? How it works:Once you've listened to all of the artists perform in Live Show Two, you should post your votes in this thread, ranking the performances from favourite to least favourite. Please post a list that states clearly which is your favourite down to least favourite, or use the below format:01 (favourite)020304-10111213 (least favourite)For those voting that are competing in the Live Show, you must vote. Failure to vote by a competing artist will result in a 26 point deduction from your final score. As always, if you are not competing in The Pop Factor you are more than welcome to cast your vote too - whether you've been an observer from the beginning or your artist has been eliminated! And remember, that's not all...When voting closes, we'll cross over to the results show where TWO artists will be eliminated from the competition. The first - the artist with the least points - will be eliminated from the competition automatically. The remaining bottom two artists with the least points will then come face to face with our four judges once again: Commander Eye Sack, Le Jé d’Eleven, The Rogue Trader and Jimmy-Jam Watts. They will decide the artist that remains in the competition. Voting closes on Friday 3 April 2026, 17:59 BSTSo now, let's get Live Show Two: The Ballads of a Broken-Hearted BuzzJack going...IT'S TIMETO FACETHE BALLADS!01020304050607080910111213Standard list of entries:Florence + the Machine - Cosmic LoveDavid Bowie - Five YearsROSALÍA - Mio Cristo Piange DiamantiHAIM - GasolineKelly Clarkson - Piece By Piece (Idol Version)Scissor Sisters - MaryConan Gray - Forever With MeLily Allen - Pussy PalaceDelta Goodrem - Not Me, Not IABBA - ChiquititaTroye Sivan feat. Sunday at 13:232 days Surprising choice for Lily Allen when there’s a bunch of more traditional ‘ballads’ in her back catalogue…Great choices from Florence, HAIM, ABBA & Atomic Kitten, and excited to get to know the rest!
Sunday at 13:262 days Early impressions:'Cosmic Love' is a great choiceABBA's so making it to the next round!
Sunday at 13:302 days Expected "Somewhere Only We Know" from Lily. "Pussy Palace" is not a ballad for me and it's my least favourite song from her.
Sunday at 13:372 days Great ROSALÍA pick, that song is the most vocally impressive one on LUX for me ‘Mary’ is a stunner too
Sunday at 13:402 days Yeah, I definitely had not conceived Pussy Palace as being a ballad, but I guess it is... slow?Chiquitita is one of my favourite ABBA songs, feel like it doesn't get as much love as many of their classics so LOOOVE seeing it here - I really don't see how they don't win this whole thing with ease❤️
Sunday at 13:422 days Atomic Kitten really firing though their hits now… in fact is there many left for them?
Sunday at 13:452 days Author Just putting it out there, I'm not monitoring whether songs adhere to the theme or not (even though you all had ample opportunity to double check by confirming on the form to submit your entries), it's up to the voting public if they think the mentors are taking the piss x
Sunday at 13:482 days From what I do know & remember (I've heard the HAIM track before but don't remember it), only Florence is the one I'm not too keen on and to a lesser extent Chappel! Not my personal favourite from the album but I know it's popular!A favourite of mine from ROSALÍA's latest album. Stunning.Great choice for Kelly.Lovely choice from Scissor Sisters. One of my favourite Lily songs but I too hadn't had it down as a "ballad", cheeky from whoever is behind her!Nice song from Delta.Fully expected 'The Winner Takes It All' for ABBA but this is a solid choice! That's an absolute GEM from Troye! Really nice pull there - hope it gets it's rightful moment and people appreciate it in it's beauty! My 2nd favourite Atomic Kitten song. Stunning!Very excited to dig into this round because I am a big balladeer fan!
Sunday at 14:032 days Author Yeah whoever is behind Troye has sent one of the biggest gems of his discography right there, absolutely love HEAVEN

Sunday at 14:042 days Definitely would be early for The Winner Takes It All to show I’d say. Chiquitita makes sense, the No.1s firing out now, I think I’d have actually loved to see Slipping Through My Fingers, one of my favourite ballads ever lyrically. But I appreciate a non single at this stage is a major risk. I don’t know a few of these so will be good to hear them. Piece By Piece is a good choice, I had wondered whether that might show now as other Kelly ballads have that winning sound for later. Obviously a great choice for Scissor Sisters that should lift them out of trouble.Atomic Kitten is expected but should see them through definitely - sure they are running out of hits after that but nice to see them go as far as possible. Not Me, Not I another classic from Innocent Eyes and underrated with a No.18 peak here but did get to No.1 in Australia. Very beautiful track and vocal with a great build. Hmm at Lily, not really my definition of a ballad either. I think I was expecting Littlest Things but ofc Somewhere Only We Know feels like the obvious one. Avoiding covers at this point is probably a good move however.
Sunday at 14:092 days I was going to be having words with Florence's mentor if 'Cosmic Love' didn't get used at some point. HAIM's best song in the last round followed by Florence's best song this round we love to see it!
Sunday at 14:172 days Author This would've been my choice of ballad for Ruel (much to Joseph's dismay again ):
Sunday at 14:222 days another round and another fantastic Conan discovery! Kudos to his mentor… Did not have it down at the start when I saw the names that I would be coming out of this as a big Conan fan…
Sunday at 14:232 days Abba also had Fernando, One Of Us and The Day Before You Came at their disposal for this round, so many riches. For David Bowie, Life On Mars maybe could have been saved up until now and another song used in round 1.
