July 6Jul 6 Pleasantly surprised by the album. I'm generally a casual Madonna fan but this album fits in perfectly with the kind of music I've been enjoying recently. It's a consistent listen with no skips! "Bring Your Love" is my favourite track, so infectious and should've been at least a moderate hit globally. Other highlights for me are "I Feel So Free", "Good For the Soul", "Danceteria", "Read My Lips" & "Love Sensation". The first half of the album is stronger than the 2nd half. Might need to do more a dive into Madonna's previous albums at some point!

July 6Jul 6 From memory the HITS predictions usually trend up for new albums. Given that Madonna's streams had a fairly soft fall compared to what is normal, I would think she would trend closer to 120-130k. Might be close vs Olivia!

Confessions was inspired by seventies disco and eighties dance. Get Together was the only one that seemed more like a spin on French-house of the early 2000s, which is a framework for a lot of this album. This album is very specific with the 90s and early 2000s references, it's definitely a sequel 🖤I think Bizarre is the only song that sounds like it could be a genuine Confessions track (well, and I Feel So Free, but that is more of a bridge), but it also has that 2000s edm spin on it

I think us stans did know she still had it in her to put out something like this again but it’s still mighty impressive just how bold and creative she is even now! The queen for a reason.

I’m just going off what a random on Twitter said though lol. If that’s true I think Madonna should be safe, but I don’t want to jinx it!
