I've literally never heard of Sienna Spiro. Sounds like she should be one of Lois Lane's friends

She's amazing! Die On This Hill is her big breakthrough hit and she has a song on the Devil Wears Prada 2 soundtrack which has also done well.

Not had chance to post my thoughts until now, but wow what an album! It's much more confessional than her 2005 album and it arguably gets even better towards the end - love the 'Erotica' feel of some of these tracks, a very welcome and perhaps not unexpected return to this sound considering the focus it received on the Celebration Tour.

'Danceteria' (the album's best), 'Bizarre' (a hint of what 'MDNA' could have been) and 'Fragile' (utterly gorgeous in every way) are highlights for me and feel like obvious singles.

More thoughts will come to me as I keep revisiting the album but I have to say this could potentially land as one of her best albums for me. It has such a strong vision and journey, it subverts expectations, Madonna's vocals shine beautifully. Honestly couldn't be a happier fan right now!

The run of ‘Love Without Words’ > ‘Bizarre’ > ‘School’ > ‘Fragile’ is extraordinary. So, SOOOO good.

Not going to make 50k but I think that would have been a big ask - that’s the territory of Kylie and she’s retained a stronger fanbase in the UK and does more UK based promotion.

Those streaming sales are very impressive!

It doesn’t help that a lot of variants have been sold out on her store.

A great time to be a Madonna fan!!

41.3k in the UK wednesday sales flash update. And 4.4k in streaming sales. 😮

The total is 42,337

The regular edition is oddly missing from the iTunes Charts. The other 3 versions are still in the top 3

An interesting comparison is Paul McCartney’s latest album sold 33,642 copies in its first week back in June. He didn’t have as many variants but it’s good she’s doing so much better.

I'm having such a moment with 'L.E.S. Girl'. The way she sings makes me quite emotional actually, I know there's slight effects on her voice but there's still a raw quality to it. It helps you can hear her breaths before she sings and sometimes the voice trails off a little. Kind of reminds me of 'American Life' vocals.

If you like LES Girl you might like Studio Electronique. It's essentially a solo artist who's music is very similar. He supported The Divine Comedy on their last tour and he was great. If Confessions II is Madonna's swansong, this track is a fitting ending to 44 years of hits.

The downloads at £3.99 haven’t counted I think it falls below the minimum cost somehow?

I’ve noticed they’ve upped them to £4.99 now.

lots of lost sales if the £3.99 does not count! :(

I could have sworn anything above £3.75 counts. What makes you think they haven’t been counted?
