Sure, that's fine, I don't have a horse in that race, but you're positing Sam Fender and/or his team complaining to the OCC to prevent it from happening. Seems like an attack on character based on speculation, thus, getting mad/smug about the made up version of Sam Fender in your head. Wouldn't have brought it up but you've said the same thing twice in this thread which is entering the realm of misinformation through repeated assertion.

I disagree. If a fan buys all those different copies and variants, it implies that said artist is worth their money. Money isn't free, it's earned and if someone wants to spend a lot of their hard earned money on buying these variants, let them.

And they all deserved to be counted to get my fave group back in the charts.

40 years later and it's no different.

If someone wants to spend their money on variants and that helps to chart, why shouldn't it?

The multi format debate has been raging for years - I multi buy my 2 favourite artists, every format and variation and have done for years and years.

As a collector I love having the choice of multiple variants.
