I haven’t had such a huge clear out of my faves in years I don’t think!

I knew I was dnqing shame as I felt more confindent in this than last month which sucks,

Both very long songs out in 24th - not too surprised I'm afraid, but both were an interesting listen. Some other tough cuts in SF1 there but at least it wasn't too close, and happy with Trifoski through at the end.

Just gutted for Scene missing out by so little in the other semi - I'll be kicking myself for not swapping my 8 and 10 pointers unless I find out 20th place was also something I really like.

I qualified and also didn't lose any songs from my votes! Not sure if that has ever even happened before lmao.

Only losing my 1 and 5 pointer is pretty great tbh. The rest of my top 12 made it through I believe

Special mentions to Numayania and Scotland 2 for their earworms!!

And I can finally cross off that one goal of qualifying with a girl group (technically second all-female act I got to bring to the final) where Liella! (BJSC185) and 2NE1 (from 100+ years ago) didn't manage!!!!!

Very pleased for Pagasa as that was one I wasn't sure about <3 A real shame for these though:

People, we were supposed to get the long songs through after all this discourse! Persephonia's was so hypnotisingly beautiful and I thought it could have a good chance, #EndPersephoniaRacism, Aelandor also had a similar hypnotising quality to it. I was less certain with A-Kono... but it was a very interesting entry. Scotland 2 also wasn't too far from my votes, couldn't quite fit in all the quirky rock ones sadly.

Hopefully some good ones to replace them x

I was doing the same, I moved 8-4 around constantly and couldn’t really decide on a final ranking I was happy with. Sorry Scene, what a lush song 🖤

Just heard the Millionaire Muses song and went on their Spotify profile, it is crazy this exists! 😅 very Poundland royalty free music teas.

Ennea was the winner of the 8 way tussle for my 1 pointer but that really turned out to all be even more inconsequential than I could have predicted - out of those 8 songs literally only 1 of them qualified 💀 (and I couldn't have made any of the others qualify even if I'd given them 12 points let alone 1 haha).

Trifoski is a fine last qualifier (not quite up to the standard of most of their 2026 entries to date for me but still time for it to grow on me more), a bit gutted for Mothertopia though as they're also on an unfortunate DNQ streak and this felt like quite a bold change of direction from them, admittedly I wasn't totally sure what to think of it on first listen but it was one of the biggest growers for me on the second listen.

A bit more evenly spread out, good to have only lost the one of my top 10 here. I thought my final votes were going to be very semi 1 dominant but the mass death of those songs I ranked 10th-17th there will make a bit of room for more of the second tier semi 2 songs to creep in.

Thanks for the hosting anyway Harve, I accepted my fate early on which made the stringing along bother me a little less! And I guess we end up with a final that should be a pretty manageable length for all hopefully, I shall look forward to spectating from my increasingly worn out sideline seat x (have now had more DNQs than qualifiers this year oops!)

Oh......it's a hit! And all it cost me was a 10p coin flip in my personal wishing well!

Iceage and BUCK-TICK not going through is definitely a fail on the voters' end though......
