Saturday at 21:021 day Texas - Summer Son (catchy all-time classic - so good)New Order - Regret (one of New Order's greatest from the 90's)Depeche Mode - Never Let Me Down Again (still a great song, but not among my very favourites of DeMo)Bananarama - I Want You Back (a classic SAW production - a bit too straight)Fontaines D.C. - Favourite (not bad, but from that album I like Bug most)Sade - Kiss of Life (It is nicely relaxed, but somehow I don't really get into Sade except their 2-3 big hits)
Saturday at 21:201 day Summer Son jumping on that late 90s chimes trend from Tamperer + Maya and Steps - Tragedy!
Saturday at 21:341 day This is the worst round of any category so far in this competition, some absolute stinkers here.Doesn’t help that the song at the top is an absolute solid 10/10 for me and a highlight of their catalogue.Texas— BIG GAPSadeBananaramaDepeche ModeNew OrderFontaines DC
Saturday at 22:141 day 1 Depeche Mode - Never Let Me Down Again2 Texas - Summer Son3 New Order - Regret4 Sade - Kiss Of Life5 Fountaines D.C. - Favourite6 Bananarama - I Want You BackAnother good'un from Depeche Mode puts them atop with my 15 pointer from BJSC in 2022, ('Everything Counts' would also be top 2 in the chairs round with 'Inner Smile' as well). 'Summer Son' is great too. Hadn't heard 'Regret' before but liked that. The other three didn't do much for me though 'Smooth Operator' and 'Robert De Niro's were both fab picks last time!

12 hours ago12 hr Texas (favourite)BananaramaFontaines DCSadeDepeche modeNew Order (least favourite)Love that Texas song - that and Inner Smile are my favs of theirs… I’m still holding out hope to hear ‘The Conversation’ but that’s just me!That bottom 2…. I’m ready for them to gracefully bow out soon lol. Between all the songs I’ve heard from DM, NW and Ultravox I could not for the life of me say with certainty which song was sent by which group.
