This top 3 appearing pre-Gamu, in a round with one elimination - madness, madness, madness. 'Never Forget You' sounds better than I remembered, but I was never keen on 'Skyfall'.

SEB just casually sending one of the best songs of all time…the other ladies were gagged. That Robyn track reminds me of the GTA V days!

I like all 6 songs here !! Another amazing round from the ladies

1 (fave) Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights

2 Robyn & Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat

3 Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder on the Dancefloor

4 MARINA - Oh No!

5 Zara Larsson & MNEK - Never Forget You

6 Adele - Skyfall

1st Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights

2nd Robyn & Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat

3rd Adele - Skyfall

4th Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder on the Dancefloor

5th Marina, Aquamarina - Oh No!

6th Zara Larsson & Mnek - Never Forget You

Another 1st place for Kate Bush from me with a classic but Robyn is not far behind. There aren't many no.1 singles that don't have a verse/chorus structure so to have one as late as 2007 was very refreshing. The only dilemma I had was which song to put in 3rd place but the Adele one has a bit more ambition to it. Sorry to keep putting Zara last but all her songs have been painful to listen to.

1. Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights

2. Robyn & Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat

3. MARINA - Oh No!

4. Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder on the Dancefloor

5. Adele - Skyfall

6. Zara Larsson & MNEK - Never Forget You

'Oh No' is one of my favourite Marina songs and she's on average my favourite artist in this lineup so for it to be 3rd (and I was considering 'Murder...' to go ahead of it too) is insane. 'Wuthering Heights' and 'With Every Heartbeat', utterly gorgeous songs and both revelations of their time.

'Skyfall''s a good Adele song too, just what a monster of a round - 'Never Forget You' is hardly bad either just a little bit more average radio pop compared to everything else in this round.

In for a penny and I'll do this one too as know all the songs

1. Adele - Skyfall

2. Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder on the Dancefloor

3. Robyn & Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat

4. Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights

5. MARINA - Oh No!

6. Zara Larsson & MNEK - Never Forget You

1 Sophie Ellis-Bextor

2 Robyn

3 Kate Bush

4 Adele

5 MARINA

6 Zara Larsson

Honestly I went into this playlist expecting to be coming out and somewhat contrarian-ly ranking Robyn 4th but it hit me harder than I remembered when I heard it again. Ok Robyn you can have this one being a rightful classic. Obviously the other two of my top 3 are also classics so happy to join in that being the predictable top 3. I am very fond of 'Skyfall' too though (definitely my favourite Bond theme). I worried that 'Oh No!' might have not aged very well but I was still enjoying it on my listen today so it can avoid being another last placer for MARINA for me as 'Never Forget You', while not bad by any means, definitely has aged quite poorly (as have the vast majority of other big hits of that time period).

FAVE

04 Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights

03 MARINA - Oh No!

02 Robyn & Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat

01 Zara Larsson & MNEK - Never Forget You

LEAST FAVE

Oh this was HORRIBLE. I adore all 6 and they would all probably feature in my top 8 of all the songs entered this round! If you asked me to rank these again tomorrow, the order would probably be entirely different!

My apologies to Mother Zara for doing you so dirty 😭

Such a strong round for the female judges houses

1. Sophie Ellis Bextor - Murder On The Dancefloor - timeless classic

2. Robyn - With Every Heartbeat - major tuuunage

3. Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights - a glorious, haunting piece of music

4. Marina - Oh No! - this felt like a bit of a risky choice to me but if it qualifies it’s a genius move to keep back some bigger hitters

5. Adele - Skyfall - superb Bond theme

6. Zara Larsson - Never Forget You - sorry I just like this less than the others. Still a tune though

1 Zara Larsson

2 Robyn (highest I've ever ranked Robyn)

3 Sophie Ellis-Bexter

4 Kate Bush

5 Marina

6 Adele

Liked the top 3 choices, meh on the bottom 3.

1 Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder on the Dancefloor · The very definition of a perfect pop song. Still can't believe it's been played this early!

2 Adele - Skyfall · This is up there with my favourite Bond themes, or it might actually be my favourite!

3 Robyn & Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat · Another pop classic. I once went to the filming of a TV show where I saw her perform this live from about 3 feet away, listening to the song always reminds me of that!

4 Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights · I've never been a huge fan of Bush (well not that sort anyway) but this is an undeniable classic.

5 MARINA - Oh No! · Sadly not one of my favourites of hers. Oh no indeed!

6 Zara Larsson & MNEK - Never Forget You · Never really got into this when it came out, and even now it's not sounding much better - she has much better than this! All the low rankings make me feel like she's going out this week which is a shame. Sadly I think her mentor just played it very wrong this week.
