You fail to see it's a matter of opinion. :kink:

I agree with people stating their opinion. My opinion is that it's a good song.

Eugh there's nothing worse than a desperate pop star. :puke2:

I agree -_-

Livvi top 40 :w00t:

Shakira should take Bananarama's place by Sunday I would think. Lots of newies this week :w00t:

Actually, Pitbull, Shakira and Mariah could all go top 40 this week, knocking out Livvi and Bananarama...

For your sake, don't look at Mika's twitter then!

(Hint: If it goes top 3 he's promising to get naked on his website :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: )

Joke. That would be disgusting. :puke2:

Wasn't Rob talking about Pixie not Mika
Yes. But they were just replying to his comment and telling him basically Mika is worse for it :heehee:

What are the chances of David Guetta returning to #1 on Sunday:  I love to see how close the top 2 are.
strange that Bananarama were number 9 on physicals, yet nowhere to be seen on iTunes... must be the older fans still not getting to grips with this technology lark, eh? :P

How many more will Guetta sell than Pixie tomorrow (+ sales from today) do you think?

I can't believe somebody comes onto a chart forum and actually believes the Beatles sold over a billion records. It's simply not true and there is no evidence to back this figure up. It's pure marketting hype, which unfortunately has been regurgitated by the media over the years. Do the research and you'll realise it's not true. The Beatles are certainly one of the biggest selling acts in the world though along with Elvis (who also has sold nowhere near 1billion albums despite the records company's and fan's claims) and Michael Jackson. It's impossible to be certain who is the biggest selling though. All 3 acts have sold far short of the 1billion albums mark. Media often confuses 'units' sold with 'albums' sold and they are very different things. Elvis and The Beatles have so many albums it's easier for them to achieve huge sales than Michael Jackson who has relatively few albums. Similar to Beatles, Elvis, and Jackson, ABBA sales are also grossly over-hyped. The Beatles, Elvis and ABBA became the media darlings over the years and have been hyped beyond all reason. While all good acts in their own right and very influential, people should try to take what the record execs and media say with regards to sales.

One other important thing to note: Michael Jackson's Thriller album has not sold 104million copies. This was misquoted from his former spokesperson. It is still by far the biggest selling album in the world though, with just over 70million confirmed sales.

In June 1965 The Beatles had sold over 250 million records according to EMI worldwide. Off which US press associations said that the Beatles sold over 100 million records in 1964 alone in the USA.

In 1972 the Guinness Book Of Records ratified the Beatles as having sold over 600 million sales.

These sales include both singles and albums.

Hence it is hardly unreasonable to assume the Beatles have sold another 450m - 500 million worldwide sales in the following 37 years.

Remember the Best selling album of this decade worldwide is the Beatles 1 compilation.

Whilst the Beatles hold the record for most #1 albums in virtually every major music territory that had album charts from back in the early 1960s and the most #1 singles in most major music territories with the exception of the UK (Elvis Presley) & Ireland (U2).

I hope Bananarama can stay top 40 and The Beatles stay out of the top 5 album, its looking very very likely now they wont go number 1 by sunday
Hope Pixie can stay at #1 for Sunday.

I agree. 'Boys and Girls' is better than 'Mama Do', and should definitely reach #1. Fingers crossed!

Hope Temper Trap stays top 15

I don't think she will now. Amazing how she's held up though isn't it?

Wow. Looks like we're not gonna have one more artist to have two number ones off the album :o :o
I really hope the Nanas manage to hold on to a Top 40 slot.
