Listening purely for Scott Mills today and to hear some modern music so I can be down with the kids. I've been stuck into 2001 Stereophonics for the last couple of days!

Really interested in this chart this week actually. Usually we have 4 or 5 new entries, usually all urban or urban influenced somehow. This week we have ten;

Pop/rock, alternative, rock, indie, classic electro pop, French language dance (!), dubstep, urban, pure pop and MOR - pretty damn varied, thank god - keep it up please :D I love urban but not to the extent that I want to feel like I'm listening to the UK top 40 R&B chart every week

Hope Biffy Clyro are top 40.
I'm glad Ellie got at least one more week top 40, it definately deserved better though. So happy about Biffy , wasn't sure they would make top 40.

Love The Pretty Reckless  This and 'Make Me Wanna Die' are two of my favorite songs from this year clearly!

Good to see a new rock song in this week's top 40. I still prefer their former single though.

First time i've heard this Pretty Reckless song, its quite good, no way near as good as Make Me Wanna Die though imo. :)
The Writer has helped sell the album more! Like Pixie and Gravity Peaking at number 19 but helped sell the album.

That was the first time I listened to 'Miss Nothing', thought I would hate it, but I was pleasantly surprised. :D

Hi guys! A good chart is coming, I suppose (Thank God Eminem and Rihanna don't stand a chance of a number 1!)

Here are my retro favourites:

01. (-) Dizzee Rascal - Holiday

07. (5) Beyonce - Sweet Dreams

10. (-) Biffy Clyro - That Golden Rule

2005

01. (-) Oasis - The Importance Of Being Idle

05. (2) James Blunt - You're Beautiful

07. (1) McFly - I'll Be OK

09. (-) Kaiser Chiefs - I Predict A Riot/Sink That Ship

10. (-) The White Stripes - My Doorbell

2000

01. (-) Madonna - Music

02. (1) Spiller - Groovejet (If This Ain't Love)

03. (2) True Steppers And Dane Bowers Featuring Victoria Beckham - Out Of Your Mind

05. (4) Melanie C - I Turn To You

07. (6) Bomfunk MC's - Freestyler

09. (8) Storm - Time To Burn

Ellie Goulding's song is growing on me, Pretty Reckless one is pretty... crap and Gettin' Over You still sounds OK.

First time I'd heard Miss Nothing too, decent chorus but the rest of it was the sort of thing that goes right over my head, so I probably won't listen to it again. I can't remember anything about it now anyway, two minutes after it's finished, so it can't have been that good a chorus :kink:

Exactly how I feel now!
