October 7, 20205 yr Looks like they are making more of the Lewis Capaldi CDs available after the first batch sold out in seconds, got to hand it to his team signed CDs for £5 - should keep him riding high in the charts for the next few weeks https://shop.lewiscapaldi.com/*/*/Signed-Di...sue/6QC00000000

October 7, 20205 yr One good news there are 9 new entries inside the 40, plus 2 (11 in total) climbing within the top 75, bit of a clear out, bad news Dynamite is up a place  I'm guessing that's the TV advert effect. :magic: as I have seen them on an advert now. :drama: Dynamite was on that Samsung ad between Bake Off which I swear lasted over a minute of just Dynamite. They managed to get the verse, chorus, middle 8 and key-change chorus in the same advert which is huge promo for it!

October 7, 20205 yr Lewis' team are quite fantastic! If only other artists' teams were like this, in their first week let alone 60th or whatever
October 7, 20205 yr Ahhh I so hope Melanie C can hold onto that top 10 position I'll die a little inside if she misses out. Also ewww who is buying the Amanda Holden album wtf? Stopping Bon Jovi from charting in the top 5 is just weird. Lmao yes to all of this. The Amanda Holden album is crap. Gonna be such a close one for Mel C. Here's hoping
October 7, 20205 yr looks like Bon Jovi' have lost a lot of fans recently :/ agree, more labels should learn from Lewis Capaldi's... but poor intern having to sign all those CDs :D
October 7, 20205 yr This is highkey desperation from Lewis’s label, I never care when labels pull out all the stops in the first week (Dua vs 5SOS was so entertaining for that reason!!) but trying to keep it top 10 almost 18 months after it’s release and block a new album from getting there is...extra af.
October 7, 20205 yr Does Lewis have the record for the most weeks spent in top ten consecutively since an albums debut?
October 7, 20205 yr Of course it's only available to UK residents. I hope he is kicked out of the Top 10. They want it to count to the UK charts so any copies sold to fans overseas wouldn’t be - it’s actually nice to see an artist that cares about the charts so much even though it’s frustrating to international fans.
October 7, 20205 yr Does Lewis have the record for the most weeks spent in top ten consecutively since an albums debut? https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/a...-top-10__29837/ He has the record for a debut album, as he is on 72 weeks. He is only 4 weeks behind Ed Sheeran, so I don't blame him!
October 7, 20205 yr I find it kind of gross when artists are still doing everything they can for that top 10 position all those months later tbh, let someone else have a chance.
October 7, 20205 yr Gawd, imagine sitting through a whole album of Amanda Holden's paper-thin, emotionless vocals. Edited October 7, 20205 yr by Tawdry Hepburn
October 7, 20205 yr I find it kind of gross when artists are still doing everything they can for that top 10 position all those months later tbh, let someone else have a chance. Yeah I'm a bit undecided on where I stand with Lewis' tactics. On the one hand, it's a bit desperate and shameless and he's robbing someone else of a top ten place. But on the other hand, if he's got a chance at breaking the record for most weeks in the top ten then why shouldn't he go for it? I probably would.
October 7, 20205 yr While i will be so disappointed if Lewis Capaldi costs Mel C a top 10 position i give him and the label a hats off for how they keep pushing for album sales, i enjoy seeing artists pull out all the stops to have a successful album, most only do it in the opening week but i think more of this is needed as it does help album sales overall. I still cant believe Bon Jovi will likely miss the top 5 as i thought they would be a shoe in for number 1, they have def lost alot of sales since their last album alone, i just hope they can sell fairly ok next week aswell and that the album doesnt drop like a stone. October 8, 20205 yr Yeah I'm a bit undecided on where I stand with Lewis' tactics. On the one hand, it's a bit desperate and shameless and he's robbing someone else of a top ten place. But on the other hand, if he's got a chance at breaking the record for most weeks in the top ten then why shouldn't he go for it? I probably would. Regardless of the artist I think it’s amazing that an act one, cares so much about the charts and two, is promoting the album outside of week 1. Far too often we see 2-38-76-out with the album never mentioned again so it’s nice to see someone actively promoting it so far into its shelf life, I wish others would try half as hard.
