October 7, 20205 yr Wondering why Fleetwood Mac's Dreams is a new entry on the update chart..? A 1977 Fleetwood Mac song has recorded its biggest ever week on streaming services, thanks to a TikTok video. Dreams entered Spotify's Top 40 most-played songs on Tuesday, nestling up against hits by AJ Tracey and Cardi B. The revival started with a viral video of a middle-aged man skateboarding to the song and lip-syncing Stevie Nicks's vocals - while occasionally swigging from a bottle of cranberry juice. Fleetwood Mac's drummer Mick Fleetwood later recreated the clip on his TikTok.

I meant why it's 'New' and not 'Re' - hoping that it's because of what Maestro said and that it'll count towards the original on the official chart? Fingers crossed!

October 7, 20205 yr Melanie C sold more than Corey Taylor and Roger Waters above her yesterday. She's 2k ahead of Roisin at #11, and 2.3k ahead of Bryson Tiller who is most likely going to be her competition for a top 10 spot.
October 7, 20205 yr Looks like relatively huge daily increases for BLACKPINK and Amanda Holden then - I guess BGT is responsible for the latter but not sure how BP's sales have suddenly accelerated so much in one day? They should both cross 10k now as well by the looks of things anyway so a little healthier than things were looking yesterday. Bon Jovi suddenly not even looking safe to be top 5, oof. Queen's sales also holding up better than I expected so obviously no threat from Oasis now! Also we stan Pop Smoke for knocking DBE out of the top 10 singles again x
October 7, 20205 yr BLACKPINK will probably be the new entry with the most sales coming from streams I’m guessing.
October 7, 20205 yr BLACKPINK will probably be the new entry with the most sales coming from streams I’m guessing. Not quite - they're the 4th most streamed album of the 200 in the top 200 today, behind Pop Smoke, 21 Savage and Bryson Tiller (in that order), so that makes them the 3rd highest of the new entries on streams!
October 7, 20205 yr The Bangles and Mariah Carey will be lucky to stay Top 40 with how they are falling. I am really disappointed Bon Jovi will prob be number 5 at the highest on Friday but thankfully Mel c is holding on in at number 8.
October 7, 20205 yr Bon Jovi to miss the Top 5 with a studio album for the first time since 1986? (although that was possibly their biggest selling one) I'm guessing #13 is MGK and #16 Lewis?
October 7, 20205 yr One good news there are 9 new entries inside the 40, plus 2 (11 in total) climbing within the top 75, bit of a clear out, bad news Dynamite is up a place  I'm guessing that's the TV advert effect. :magic: as I have seen them on an advert now. :drama:
October 7, 20205 yr Bon Jovi to miss the Top 5 with a studio album for the first time since 1986? (although that was possibly their biggest selling one) I'm guessing #13 is MGK and #16 Lewis? Swap them!
October 7, 20205 yr Is Lewis' conveniently timed promo CD release actually going to end up keeping him in the top 10? :')
October 7, 20205 yr Sufjan not even top 20 (and maybe not even top 30 by Friday?) is disappointing 😭 Wasn’t surprised at him not charting last week but I thought he’d manage high top 20/maybe top 10 this week with physicals 💔
October 7, 20205 yr Ahhh I so hope Melanie C can hold onto that top 10 position I'll die a little inside if she misses out. Also ewww who is buying the Amanda Holden album wtf? Stopping Bon Jovi from charting in the top 5 is just weird.
