Yeh each to their own. ‘Blinding Lights’ probably a better example to be fair.

I re-read the Dec 2019 Spotify thread yesterday and one of my favourite posts was one you posted saying “ Just noticed 'Blinding Lights' overtaking 'Heartless' now, clearly looking like it'll be the bigger hit in the long run (although not sure either are going to have that much longevity unfortunately much like the singles from his last EP).”

 I was right about 'Heartless' not having too much longevity at least!

Not a huge Ed fan but if he saves us from that disgraceful shit at no1 I will be extremely happy.

I'd be happy with Ladbaby at 1 and Ed at 2.

zN1k5WG.png BUT FOR A SMILE WE CAN SHARE A BITE, AND EAT ON AND ON AND ON AND ON zN1k5WG.png

I see Ed's not over finishing second last year a4e1VE3.gif LadBaby army RISE UP and let's stick it to the grinches one more time!

If the ladbaby song is for charity the fair enough however people used to moan when novelty songs got to no 1 years back, however back then they were at least decent. We went from some classics, to c factor songs...to this. Charts have gone downhill in general but it's a bit of a joke now.
Bought the McCartney III CD today and it's a great listen. Hope he goes to No.1. May do on first mids but be overtaken by Neil or Ball and Boe later in the week.

Tried to get into it as have liked a majority of his previous solo albums, however I just find the lyrics to be very very basic and almost like they are written by a child. Not for me.

I agree they are very simple lyrics but I like it still. He has done better solo albums though.

It's not a limited edition, there are as many as you want

Checked Liams store and the red vinyl is sold out there unfort!

:o Shape Of You did over 200k in a week, maybe this can do 100k in four days? Although I won't hold my breath as sales are so much lower than four years ago and I Don't Care didn't open as high.

Shape of You’s 200k in a week also came with a ridiculous 9,000,000+ streams on Spotify in the given week. Something that will never be beaten, or even come close to ever again I imagine.

In fact Ed is the only artist to ever do a week with an average of 1 million or more streams each day (7,000,000 in a week) and he’s done it 5 times!

- Shape of You (x3)

- Castle on the Hill

- Galway Girl

his site has some limited variants but the white one, the normal one, is not limited and available everywhere

Someone on the Facebook UK Chart Chat group says McCartney's last 3 studio albums all peaked at No.3. Is that true? Predicts he'll do the same with this album.

Hi, as Eminem's MTBMB is a deluxe edition, am I right to say that this will be counted as sales for MTBMB? And it's not treated as a separate album? Also, do sales count twice, since it's a double disk (or would be, if there was a physical CD)? I read that somewhere, but that bit doesn't seem right to me.

I assume it's the same on the Billboard charts, so it's not counted as a new album?
