Halloween songs never chart in the top 100. They only appear for up to 3 days in the top 100 on iTunes, really (and that’s usually the lower end of the top 100). Daily streaming figures are usually extremely low on Halloween songs compared to Christmas songs, as well.
Well, that's not true, Thriller, Ghostbusters and Monster Mash all made the top 100 last year! It's on a Sunday this year so we might not see them in the chart until the week after next.

This. I'm a huge fun but I got disappointed on Friday but today I've heard it like 10 times in a row and I'm in love, for real. hope it will be big (long run).

But we know around 25K sales are missing cuz it's always a day behind, so around 170K with 2 days missing... so yeah, around 215K, shame she doesn't have CD's, she would have beat this SOY bad song.

Does anybody know how they estimate Thursday streams? If it’s an average from the rest of the week she could easily take Ed’s 226k.

I don’t think any of us know the precise formula but it takes into account trends during the week (I imagine it will take Wednesday’s numbers and apply a slight decline). Yeah if it was a straight average she might get past SOY.

Well there is Lewis Capaldi too unfortunately though it remains to be seen if he can have a second big album.

the thing is bands like Coldplay have it difficult to do well in the US album chart unlike 5-10 years ago cos now tour bundles don't count anymore

before you could announce a tour, have a tix bundle meaning without any extra cost you were getting the album for free with your ticket

and that counted towards the album chars... but not anymore...

for instance with a tour bundle, Bon Jovi's 2016 album This House is not for Sale could re-enter at #1 on tour bundles alone,

while their 2020 album could only make it to #19 without a tour bundle...

 

What did Hello open with?

 

333k back in 2015 when downloads were stronger than they are now, so if easy on me clears 200k that is massive

I'd be very surprised if he didn't, although we saw what happened with Emeli Sandé if you leave it too long.

I'd say 141 weeks on the chart and counting for a song from his last album is an indication the next one should do quite well.
