October 20, 20214 yr Not surprised that Coldpop are flopping. Your faves dream of ‘flopping’ by selling 87k of an album midweek.
October 20, 20214 yr jesus, i didn’t expect Sam Fender to drop as much as he has! i expected him to remain at #2
October 20, 20214 yr 2 The Beatles - Let It Be ^ 3 Adele - 25 Could Adele overtake The Beatles by Friday?
October 20, 20214 yr I think it's possible. Any missing streaming data would surely work in her favour for starters.
October 20, 20214 yr Lovejoy showing up today, wonder why they were absent before. '25' and '21' both rising since Monday but '19' actually falling a couple of places (really only one place accounting for Lovejoy being added in but still) Interestingly '21' looks like it may well reach its highest position since its initial run - the hype around the release of '25' "only" propelled it back to #11, though it did get a week at #10 a few months later (after Glastonbury I think, '25' returned to #1 in the same week).
October 20, 20214 yr Shame Someone like you is still the #3 Adele's song. Want a new peak for Love in the Dark so badly. They must be very close! Indeed, Easy On Me should be at least around 160-170K if as it usually happens some streaming data are missing 2 days to sell about 60K to beat Shape on You debut!
October 20, 20214 yr I thought Coldplay might be over 90k today, i wonder will they manage 100k. I hope Kylies Fever can stay top 20.
October 20, 20214 yr This time last week 100k for Coldplay was in no way in my head, when i saw the Monday midweeks i was like wow so if they dont do 100k i will be disappointed even though they will still have done brilliant.
October 20, 20214 yr Your faves dream of ‘flopping’ by selling 87k of an album midweek. My faves are Adele, indie acts who focus on REAL punk and alternative music, not chssing heats with beige pop, and don't give two SHETS about selling, the biggest girl band OF ALL TIME, Lady GaGa and Rihanna and Beyoncé. They're all doin much better than Coldpopflop, and all without selling out x
October 20, 20214 yr Too bad they will hold the record for only a couple of weeks. I know. That’s why I said so far. I reckon Adele will have the biggest sales. Ed’s 2019 album didn’t do too well sales wise
October 20, 20214 yr funnily I've been telling everyone about the Coldplay album doing so well and everyone tells me the same, oh it's the first album from them that I'm not gonna buy :o
October 20, 20214 yr I know. That’s why I said so far. I reckon Adele will have the biggest sales. Ed’s 2019 album didn’t do too well sales wise It had the biggest opening week of 2019 and is currently certified 2x Platinum (probably closer to 3x Platinum at this point given that that rating was awarded in January 2020) so it was hardly a slouch lol. Not to mention the fact that it was more of a side project compared to Ed's "main" albums (being +, ×, ÷ and now =), so the lower sales were to be expected. = should clear those figures easily.
October 20, 20214 yr No.6 Collaborations Project has sold 866k as of last Friday - I don't think anything released since then has come anywhere near that total?
October 20, 20214 yr No.6 Collaborations Project has sold 866k as of last Friday - I don't think anything released since then has come anywhere near that total? But it didn’t sell as much as his other three albums
October 20, 20214 yr But it didn’t sell as much as his other three albums It’s not comparable though, as a few have already said. So enough with the ‘buts’.
October 20, 20214 yr Too bad they will hold the record for only a couple of weeks. I’m sure the music industry are loving this Q4 so many big acts releasing and we all forgot how much Coldplay sell!
