Fantastic to see Kylie top 10. I hope she can hold top 20 for one of the best albums of all time.

 

Kinda glad Jessie has fallen to 18 this week, seems her attitude to Leigh and blackfishing has really impacted sales. Shame really, hopefully she learns from this mistake and everyone can move on. I hope the girls make up to help boost Jessies sales but the girls might not want Jessies negative press to impact the greatest hits album. It is a tough one.

LMAO. All of you failed to mention the fact that this time Coldplay have a gazillion of formats, which INFLATE their sales, so the comparison with Everyday Life is simply invalid. :lol:

And there are fans of various acts that stream albums overnight to inflate sales, or fans who set up fundraising campaigns to buy copies, so it's all relative. Plus Coldplay are one of many acts who release multiple formats, hence why ive ended up with about 300 copies of Kylies Disco album.

Many acts do multi formats now. Gaga and Little Mix had so many versions. It is a good idea to boost sales hun.

Maybe... it sold 813k in its first week on sale though that is based on the sales given at the time (For example its first three days on sale were given as 693k at the time but the OCC revised this down to 663k later on so clearly the overall 813k given would also drop to put it below Adele in opening tallies). So yes and no is the answer depending on which figure you use.

sure the first 7 day-sales too (30K at least, maybe more), so 783K is the maximum it could have got

Halloween songs never chart in the top 100. They only appear for up to 3 days in the top 100 on iTunes, really (and that’s usually the lower end of the top 100). Daily streaming figures are usually extremely low on Halloween songs compared to Christmas songs, as well.
