Strong start for Taylor! Hoping they deploy midweek signed CDs to really maximise the potential sales

Impressive boost for Lana too - I think it’s just because of a topless vinyl variant that has been belatedly released

Lana headlined BST last night!

Edit;: I will never forget Covid taking away that iconic Little Mix headlined one with Kesha, Zara and Rita all on the same day

Tbh you’re probs correct though and I assume the effect from BST wont be seen until tomorrows update perhaps? Idk.

i agree about signed cds. ive held out buying one so far in hopes of signed ones. if they go up during the week great but if theres no sign of them by thursday ill jsut get a plain one! shes already taken £230 of mine on tickets so what harm will giving her £20 more do lmaooo :kink:

If Speak Now TV debuts at #1, Taylor will become the second woman to have at least 10 UK #1 albums!
Decent start that for Taylor, wonder if the streams have all been added as the streaming take over suggested this would be a big amount! Also will be interesting to see what Wham are on following the documentary - hopefully near 20k? Great start for Gabriel, listening to the album now and it’s brilliant!
Judging by those sales, Taylor’s album is on course to be the second fastest selling album of the year so far
Full update here

Nice to see the breakdown in sales, hopefully more streams are added before the weeks out and she can do 75k?!

Phenomenal start for taylor didn't know what to expect but great to see similar numbers to Red

Interesting that original speak now is still above Fearless TV and evermore though

Can please give mr brightside rest now and riptide

It seems the British are more obsessed with Mr Brightside than the Americans. I’d understand if the Americans were more obsessed with it than the British

Yay for Peggy and 'Cruel Summer' both moving up from First Look again and both in the top 5 *.* and I see ANOTR in the top 40 again, hope they can actually hold on this time.

Great sales for Taylor, I think the biggest album streaming sales week of the year was only like 14k (Ed and Nines both opened around that range iirc) so she's going to crush that if she's on over 10k already.

Definitely looking like 'Pakistan' was a blip in what is otherwise a pretty off year for D-Block Europe, with their mixtape looking like it may be missing the top 5. Unexpected seeing Lana popping back up at #5, I guess she'll drop off a fair bit if that's just from new vinyls being shipped but good to have it back in the top 40 at least.

Thank god 'Heat Waves' is finally back on ACR and presumably now for good.

Anyone know why 'Summer Of '69' is in the chart at #83? Is that another spurious reset? Can't think what would possibly be the reason for that if so.

Truly an original and fresh observation x
