July 24, 20232 yr Is Aqua's original Barbie Girl top 40 based on streaming  where are the sales coming from
July 24, 20232 yr Aqua will be at least the third Scandinavian band of a 4-character name beginning and ending with A to go more than 15 years between Top 10 hits. What's the third one? I'm sure it should be obvious being this specific but I'm drawing a blank :kink:
July 24, 20232 yr What's the third one? I'm sure it should be obvious being this specific but I'm drawing a blank :kink: ABBA & A-Ha
July 24, 20232 yr 34 Ed Sheeran - - ^ 37 Ed Sheeran - ÷ 36 Ed Sheeran - = ÷ is at #35 (mathematical wizardry aside)
July 24, 20232 yr ABBA & A-Ha A-ha, of course :magic: We seem to have discovered the secret to having top 10 hit longevity.
July 24, 20232 yr #3 for Dua Lipa OMFGGGG the "Future Nostalgia reject" and "bad Levitating" did that 😭😭
July 24, 20232 yr OMG MANJOBI MAY ACTUALLY CHART!!! Will.i.am & Britney Spears - Mind Your Business I'll be happy with it just charting!
July 24, 20232 yr Peggy only 93 sales behind Taylor. Hope the former does overtake but if not, then Barbie World could go top 5
July 24, 20232 yr Fast Car for top 40 please. Just outside as it stands oh please no. We've already done our collective shitting on Tracy Chapman's original a few years back, let the Americans keep this one please.
July 24, 20232 yr Fast Car for top 40 please. Just outside as it stands Ooh yes! I thought it had peaked here a while ago, good to see it’s had a second wind.
July 24, 20232 yr no no thats a travesty and shouldn't be allowed that shitty cover by Jonas Blue was bad enough
July 24, 20232 yr We don't want US country clogging up our charts - it's taken a very dark turn in the US with Jason Aldean. Plus the odd exception aside ('Something in the Orange') the tracks are invariably shit.
July 24, 20232 yr 'Fast Car' is at least one of the more tolerable things Luke Combs has released due to it being a barely changed cover of a great song. I'd rather have that be his biggest hit than christing 'The Kind Of Love We Make', and it's not as much of a blight as 'Last Night' either as far as (potential) top 40 country crossover hits. Just don't really get why you'd want to listen to his version over the original, but clearly there's something to it as I've seen a lot of praise for it and it started blowing up pretty organically (wasn't being pushed as a single).
July 24, 20232 yr Ooh yes! I thought it had peaked here a while ago, good to see it’s had a second wind. Glad I’m not alone in liking it. For the people who are hating on it, have you actually heard it? It’s so much better than the Jonas Blue one and actually in the same vain as the original, does not do any disservice to Tracey Chapman at all imo
July 24, 20232 yr #3 for Dua Lipa OMFGGGG the "Future Nostalgia reject" and "bad Levitating" did that 😭😭 i beggg you get over it the comment about it being a fn reject was made weeks ago 😭😭😭😭😭😭
July 24, 20232 yr im lovin the barbie takeover! hope charli can get top 20 officially, though i have a feeling she might not make that. still its always good to have her in the top 40! also dua doing so well! its a good song, even if not her best, so happy for her. also hope both nicki and billie join her top 10 officially! would be awesome to have 3 soundtrack singles from the same film top 10
