It’s good, I am enjoying it, but it is definitely VERY Vogue which is too high of a bar to actually reach or surpass.

It’s great. I much prefer dance Ari over her rnb music as of late.

I have noticed she doesn’t seem to belt much these days. Vocals are very subdued. Could have done with a bit more at the end of the song.

I appreciate that she’s switched it up this time, this is great fun! 90s Madonna is my favourite period for her music so love that as a reference point. At the moment my main criticism is that the bridge doesn’t hit as hard as I want it to, not sure if due to the mixing or her subtle choice of delivery. But yeah definitely going to have this lodged in my head all day and look forward to the video dropping!
I don't know what I was expecting but I *love* this. I never ever cared for Vogue, I appreciate it's impact etc but as a song it never really did much for me so the comparisons there don't bother me too much.

I was expecting something different. I’m a Vogue lover personally so when I seen this was interpolated earlier on in the week I perhaps had too high expectations. It isn’t as in your face as Vogue I can hear it slightly in the production but it’s more Janet Jackson / Beyonce inspired to me than it is Madonna.

I think the big vocal moment is what I’m missing though. She does sound great and it’s produced well but I may need repeat listens and perhaps a music video watch to go from the like to love camp. I think it may just be that it’s subtle and it might be a grower rather than an instant love like no tears left to cry was for example. It’s just lacking of a big moment to my ears though.

What I will say is that this at least is a sonic departure. It wouldn’t have fitted into the positions album and the production style is definitely different from sweetener and thank u, next as well. Pretty much all the time with Ariana though her album tracks and follow up singles are more catered towards me than what her leads are. Sweetener is the only era where the singles are genuinely my favourites.

Good track, I really like the chorus.

Very brave decision in 2024 to go with a near 50 second intro, wow! Bravo to her for that.

Added straight to the Radio 1 A-List and the support on streaming services is looking very strong too! Intrigued to see what numbers it does tomorrow.

A little under 5 hours until the music video is out ^_^

I actually don’t hear Vogue TOO strongly on first listen, although it clearly sits in that lane. But immediately LOVE and the hook is undeniable from the get go. “Yes, and? Say that shit with your chest” will be in my head all day and I’ve barely even scratched the surface yet.

Love that she actually never really lets go vocally, in the way we know she can, but keeps it kind of sexy and subdued but it suits the vibe so well. Great comeback and a welcome switch up in sound too

Ariana in her dance music era? I'm in.

I'm only really a casual fan but I've always very much enjoyed her single releases. I am instantly grabbed when the beat kicks in on this and I do like the vocal subtelty.
