I really didn't think this sounded that much like a DNQ, I guess it wasn't the best draw overall and didn't sound as obvious a smash as a lot of the semi, but still, second last is mean :( 6Music letting me down a bit in BJSC recently. Glad at least a few of you found something to like in it.

 

Anyway, that's nice for Pagasa, I thought they'd be out with a deduction. Most of my other favourites through, though lost a few of my small points:

I was in the wrong semi to support but thought it sounded pretty decent from my play through of SF2

Eh I knew this one was more of a risky entry (despite my track record with instrumentals) but I really thought I lucked out with that semi draw! Definitely some snubs then from countries I thought would like it :P

 

Will need to check but think all my votes qualified at least except from Sovarasma.

Well that's unfortunate! I knew I had a risky entry but hoped it'd at least be closer to qualifying than that. Semi 1 was very strong and being 3rd in the running order was rough. Glad a few people voted for it, thanks whoever you are! I'm disappointed Sandénia missed out too, great entry.

 

There's plenty to celebrate though as I liked pretty much every song in Semi 1. Thanks Rob and great job with the graphics as always!

I suppose it's better that I only lost 3 this time, but did it have to be 3 of my higher scoring songs?!

Thanks for the fab hosting Rob! Thanks again to voters for Juice Newton getting through, Angel Of The Morning was a sudden whim not one I've had saved up for ages like a lot of my oldies so that was nice :) Lost 2 of my top 10 from semi 2: Eledan and Terra Avium, so condolences both.

Looking forward to hearing everything from SF2. I only lost Numayania from my votes — a great semi *.*

Thanks for the sentiments! I didn't think it would even be close when I entered if I'm honest, being only 3 points away tho almost makes it worse haha. It's not a very typical BJSC entry but it's a lovely track with very deeply human lyrics and really wonderful instrumentation, just wanted to share it.
