Will 3 do you?

LOL well I edited that last post to 'at most 3' as I remembered one of them was 2 points off but would have lost a tiebreak... although given I only got one 8 this time I assume it's likely I'd have needed 4 more points to qualify so probably still the furthest I've been off qualifying since Slauson Malone 1 tanking. But why must I keep being so close, if I'm going to flop I'd rather flop more emphatically at least every now and then!!

Thanks Doctor B, Jake, Mack, dandy* and Jafet for the remainder of my points x

(Also I guess you've decided to just waive a deduction for Baleghde? Not that it makes any difference)

Ooooooh wonder if I finished 20th again! Thanks to all who sent love to my entry

Gutted to lose my 10 pointer - glad to see it got another 10 pointer but sadly to me this shows how songs like that struggle in BJSC :(

Congrats to all who qualified

Wooo! Happy that Mothertopia is back with the smallest of Q streaks, lol!

Semi 2 was ultimately pretty strong and I do feel like we’ve lost some good contenders there!

Half Horse Half Man I will always remember you!

Relieved to have avoided a DNQ streak, and also that most of my SF1 favourites got through in the end, with only Macromia (3 points) missing out. All my pre-contest faves in SF2 got through, but I liked all of the 21st-23rd placers too - Tanzer is a shock exit!

Thanks for hosting Dandy, I did like this format of reveal, even as one of those put through the mill where there were more DNQ than Q places left!

Think it’s just Lookylion I voted for that didn’t make it with four points. Was a bit borderline but I appreciated the fun it brought to the semi.

Very happy to have made it thank you to everybody who listened x

Yes I thought it would be harsh to deduct, especially as it didn't change the outcome really. I also didn't separate the ties properly unless my spreadsheet happened to sort correctly by fluke

Feels like this is about as bad as it gets in terms of losing my favs in recent months. I guess the smaller number of DNQs is to thank for that.

Ok now that we've landed and made it home, I just want to properly thank everyone throwing points at Tanzer <3 and for the kind words <3.

I am looking forward to start fresh next contest, now that the pressure of Q streak is gone <3

Thanks *Dandy for fabulous result presentation and good luck to everyone in the finals!!!

P.S. all the ones I have voted, have made it clap

Oh I didnt Q again? eh.

I really have lost the plot with bjsc taste. Maybe I should throw my hat in at this point lol

nooooo, ur in a dry spell, but u usually hit so hard Joops!!!

Back to the drawing board, another DNQ, another flop for East Rukahavian. an possible break from it.

Another country would have probably qualified with our entry says spokesman of East Rukahavian, Faith Capaldi.

Edited the Q streak update from last contest into this post - highlights:

- Unchanged top 3 with Hendinia and Danæviia further extending their national records to 56 (61 non-consecutive) and 18 respectively.

- Bøtanikkä and Greenfroze stayed in joint 4th on 16 which extended Greenfroze's national record and matched Bøtanikkä's (previously achieved in BJSCs 125-140); however Trifoski lost their streak after 15.

- Within the top 10, Neliönoir and Ajanaeda further extended their national records to 13 and 11 while Kluminican Republic matched their record of 11 in consecutive contests (previously achieved in BJSCs 140-150); their record in non-consecutive contests is 15 (BJSCs 111-115, 117-119 & 122-128). No countries entered the top 10 but Lookylion also lost their streak after 10 which reduced it from a top 10 of 13 countries to a top 10 of 11 countries.

- Why So Sirius and Macromia further extended their records to 9 and 5 respectively while Aesthetica reached 6 for the first time after matching their previous record of 5 in the previous contest.

And getting back up to date:

The podium remains unchanged again with further record extensions from Hendinia to 57 (62 non-consecutive) and Danæviia to 19. Greenfroze now hold the 4th place slot on their own, extending their own record again to 17, after losing the previously tied Trifoski last month and now Bøtanikkä this month who sadly do not get to set a new record after matching their previous record last month (yet - watch this space for BJSC 194 xx). Neliönoir rise into the top 5 and further extend their record to 14. There are also further record extensions for Ajanaeda and Kluminican Republic (in consecutive contests) to 12 each, Why So Sirius to 10 and Aesthetica to 7. Bøtanikkä's departure means the top 10 is now exactly 10 countries again but Why So Sirius ensure the balance of 11 countries with double digit streaks is maintained. Interestingly(?), of the 6 returning nations in this contest, Hushkanukia were the only one who qualified with their last entry, but they're the only one to have not qualified this time! So it's welcome back to both the contest and the final for Elëdan, Sandénia, Suedeonia, Summericia and Utopia, with no non-consecutive streaks being resumed. Hushkanukia had previously been on a non-consecutive streak of 5.

6 Baleghde • OCT • Half Horse Half Man

2 Bøtanikkä • Tanzer • Maximum Glamour

Also finding the latter a surprising NQ. Persephonia won't have been too far off either.

omgggg thats the entire year of q and almost top 10!!!!

15 countries with a 100% qualification streak for the year while we're 7 contests in is quite impressive! There's been some real consistent heavy hitters this year but I feel as if countries like Greenfroze get overlooked in their reliability to qualify because they're not always finishing top 10. And for nearly two years now!
