January 15Jan 15 I can see Ellie stealthing her way to the final by everyone forgetting she's even there.I do like her from what I've seen, but she's basically done nothing all series. What happened to that plan of avenging Ross' demise?
January 15Jan 15 There are always too many shields at play in the challenges now imo. There should only ever be one or two at play (maybe a couple more at some point for the “have they tried to murder someone with a shield” drama) but having 7 (potential for 8) shields when there are 12 of them… ridiculous. Not sure I have a particular favourite tbh. Jessie is lovely but I’m also finding her quite irritating. Matt is getting over confident and I thought he’d react better after his talk to the traitors.Rachel I’m finding quite cold and cannot warm to her at all. I think Sam and Stephen are my favourites but even Sam isn’t being the entertaining c/nt I expected him to be…It’s still a great show though.
January 15Jan 15 Also I can see the reasoning behind Harriet choosing an explosive and memorable exit if she thought boosting her book sales and raising her profile as an author would be more valuable than potentially winning the prize money, but I really hope the show doesn't continue in that sort of direction from here as that could really ruin it.
January 15Jan 15 Harriet saw herself as a Traitor Hunter (to be fair, she's pretty good at it) but when her outburst at Rachel was met with suspicion from some she seemed to throw herself under the bus. Reeked of getting sheep to vote you out so you leave of your own accord rather than being voted out because your plan backfired.I didn't like the way she acted in last night's episode. She came across as thinking she was better than everyone else. Glad she's gone. The amount of nights they skip a murder, and then having so many people with a shield it's likely to skip another, and then offering up recruiting. They are going to have a lot of people left come the final. I wonder if they'll do a double murder!!??
January 15Jan 15 A double murder would be interesting but I'm wary of there being too many 'twists'. There's alot of new stuff being thrown into this series and I don't want it to start feeling like Big Brother/X-Factor days when they started jumping the shark.A few 'normal' episodes with a murder, breakfast, challenge, Round Table and turrett is needed I think.
January 15Jan 15 I am completely aware that Rachel is a great Traitor and the way she’d continued to evade getting banished in spite of having the finger pointed so clearly at her is impressive. But I just can’t warm to her at all and it’s so frustrating watching Fiona and Harriet’s plans backfire on them spectacularly and nobody even left thinking it’s her. ARGH.I loved Harriet, the more stern she got, the funnier I found her and she was so on the money.
January 15Jan 15 Isn’t the cast level fine at this point? We’ll likely see a double banishment rather than a double murder, but the numbers are fine at the moment even if they murder Jessie and she has a shield. There will be a maximum of 6 in the final. Get the point about producer interference which I do agree with to a point but they have to do something otherwise the game is too predictable for the players. You can already see it with some twists. I do think Rachel has handled the heat very well and she clearly must be a very popular player, but I just cannot warm to her at all. Maybe it’s being set up for Rachel deciding to throw Stephen under the bus eventually.
January 15Jan 15 Just finished catching up on last night's episode. Harriet, what a state. Was never feeling the mother/icon vibes from her and - despite being no fan of Roxy - the moment she decided to roar like a crazed lion at her at breakfast just cemented that. Granted she's 100% correct about Rachel, but she really thought she was the mastermind coming to take her down at that round table when really all the 'evidence', as Rachel pointed out, boiled down to gut feeling more than anything Stephen's definitely in the best position now and wouldn't be surprised to see Rachel banished come the end of this week or just before the final if they circle back and look at Fiona and Harriet's outbursts as a collective argument against her.
January 15Jan 15 It's an unusual format because it's not a fixed one like Apprentice or Bake Off where it's rather strictly formatted each episode. With Traitors, they can just recruit or whatever because they need at least one Traitor in the show by episode 12.Hence the feel of "making it up as they go along" sometimes.
January 15Jan 15 Matt getting the infamous shower scene *.*Jessie must stay please. No issues with Sam being banished but Jack/Ellie/Faraaz need to be booted out
January 15Jan 15 Stephen has been much braver than I'd have guessed he would be throughout this season but wearing that outfit today was a new level.
January 15Jan 15 Stephen is toast if they don’t murder Jessie. They’re at a point where if they do it now he can probably still slip away unscathed because she’s the only one that keeps hammering away at it and isn’t being listened to. If they leave it any longer it’s going to be incredibly difficult to get rid of her and it not look even more suspicious.
January 15Jan 15 If Jessie does get murdered I could see a light bulb moment for James pushing Stephen to be banished, especially after Jessie talking to him about it.
January 15Jan 15 The only benefit there is that I'm not sure anyone ever pays attention to what James says. I think they're all pretty certain he's a faithful, but are also pretty certain he's not that smart.
January 15Jan 15 Author I hope Matt gets murdered… but I do think it will be Jessie Liking James more and more though
January 15Jan 15 It would be amusing if Matthew got murdered at the point where he’s hoping to get a letter to become a traitor
January 15Jan 15 I haven’t been following this discussion but have just read through! I am on team traitors, Rachel & Stephen are playing s very good game. I don’t know why none of the faithfuls are suspecting Rachel after 2 big call outs of her, she must have great charisma in the castle and get along with them all! I’m in two minds on Jessie as I do like her and she’s bang on re Stephen but I want my king to stay in so I think their safest bet is to get rid of her tonight, James seems to make enough mess for himself so they could pin it onto him tomorrow I think! Echoing points on all the fun personalities being banished, I dread a final with Ellie, Roxy & Jack, none of them really provide much. Roxy is getting better after finding her extremely annoying at the start.

He goes in to the room to find a letter for him on the chair, smiles to himself because he thinks he's getting recruited and then... the look on his face when he reads his murder letter. I'd feel bad for him but at the same time I'd love to see his reaction!
